Just want to let my neighbors know (the majority of my neighbors are also on here) that when I get eggs I will attempt to mark my territory in your town by forming the letter "M" (stands for the 1st letter of my name: Mitsu) with it since it didnt seem like there is no way to know who gave us eggs. The @ is not working for you because you are getting the 'usernames' wrong. You are using their profile name. if you click on a forum members' profile you can find out their username e.g. d'oh incorporated should actually be D'oh-tastrophe Inc.  That was (at)dohinc LSLeong I had a feeling as I was typing this that there would be at least one other doing the same thing! Oh and I win :point: |

I dont know why but sometime the @ tag does not always work for me. DOH! It's because their ID is different from their user name. You have to tag their ID. If you click on their user name and go to their profile, it'll show their ID. You might be able to hover over the user name with your mouse to display it if you're using a PC. Mine happens to be the same for both, but D'oh's is "dohinc" and Neo is "neosec28" for example Ugh! Peruhomer beat me! |

And mitsuhoney, dogpiling on what Peruhomer and LSLeong have already said, you can tag somebody by using the full Reply window (the one you see when you hit the yellow Reply button), then click the little button with the @ symbol and the little figure of a person. That will bring up a pop-up window where you can start typing the name of the person you want to tag. The system will then bring up a list of similar usernames, and you can select the one you want. (It sounds like a lot of steps, but it's easy.) That's what I do when I'm not sure what somebody's official user ID is--I use touchscreen devices most of the time, so hovering isn't an option. |

Right. some of us have been asking for a message system for ages. Its as simple as adding a mailbox deco, and a message box!
I think the names should appear on the handshakes too. It would make friend management easier for some of us as well.

I made the mistake of Putting everyone on 24 hour jobs, the like five minutes later I get the first job to start off the whacking day.  Anyway I'm just going to be a day behind.

I normally do put my characters on 24 hour tasks when there are no story quest to do, and I was JUST about to put them on 24 hours again last night when my friend texted me saying the Whacking Day update is out lol. Doh an M is to hard to make cause I didnt think the eggs would need as much space as they allow you lol...

Hey guys i am new here, just updated the new whacking day event and wanted to get some new friends to play with. I play everyday and love the game my user name is themangoman684, i will place eggs in ur towns as well.
i have a little fair at on the south side of my town. thanks in advance guys, i look forward to having ppl to talk to about the game.

I moved my Whacking Day Fair to the south (bottom right) corner of my town, it got a bit too crowded being near the middle of the town lol
