So, I've realized the tear downs have to start. As much as I don't want to, I've got to. I started with my Clover Park and converted it into Whacking Day Central, which will be complete with stalls, fake snakes, snake related decor, and all things whacking day. Before:  After:  Homer has also received a practice area at his house.  My Krustylu Hollywoodesque Studio area will probably be subject to tear down, and the building located within causing an overhaul of my town. The volcano lair is probably heading to storage until I can figure out something to do with it. I'm not happy with it either. I haven't made up my mind about anything yet. It will all depend on what ACTUALLY comes out on Thursday, and how big the buildings are and how quickly they can be obtained. Anyone else doing anything to prepare for a hypothetical whacking day? |

I brought the last strip of land and doing a redesign of some parts of my town. Trying to free up some larger spaces.

Same here. I freed up a small amount of space, not a lot. It's hard to free up space.

Like you I've been going thru my town seeing what I want or could tear down to make room I have an open spot now decent size but like you said gotta wait and see how big all this shit is gonna be but I am getting pretty stoked for Thursday now
P.s. my fuck EA thread wasn't about there not being an update I got locked out for a day on a suspected update day so was pissed lol

I was wondering what happened to your Clover Park when I went to visit your town, but had no idea what "Whack" was pertaining to, lol. Well now I know!  I am buying more land but have some spaces for the new buildings coming with this update. |

I have an area to the south of my town for Whacking Day events and land to the north for new buildings. I really like the idea of a practise area for Homer - I may try to incorporate this (hope you don't mind me nicking the idea).

I really don't see why everyone is thinking this update is going to be huge. I think the only content in terms of buildings are going to be the prize ones.

I have spent the last several weeks in solitude training with the master Waki who has been teaching me the martial art of Snake-ka-d'oh. I have now achieved the elusive state of whack-vanna. In this state I can now hear the subtle sounds of a small snake slowly slithering and whack a quiver of cobras before you can say glazed donut.
Oh and I have named my whacking stick Thomas.
