So this is only my second art piece. I felt better about it before shelfcleaner really show us all up (it's amazing), but I put a lot of work into this and want to say thank you to Waylen, keys1980, and Mitzy for all their help and inspiration. I had the opportunity to go to Italy last summer and my wife and and saw a lot of fabulous art and architecture and Botticelli's Birth of Venus is a masterpiece. I had the idea of recreating it and then I found the simpsonized version of it. So here is the original Botticelli:  Here is the Simpsonsized version from which I worked:  I had wanted to include the ribbon and Lenny and Carl, but due to time constraints and without having to take screenshots, tear down, and work in stages due to the item limit, I had to recreate her left hand. So, here is my masterpiece:  Full SizeTurned out great man. Glad to be able to help out. I see great works in your future. |

I guess it just speaks to how un-artsy-fartsy I am, but I think I genuinely like your rendition more than the original Botticelli, brettolmsted. |

Was thinking of making a new thread for this unique art but I might as well have it in this thread along with many other great designs. Here is my next art design, many thanks to keys1980 for the updating of the templates so the picture can come out with greater detail and the pano of the whole piece. Baby Got Heat!   |
