Today's question. Can a pair of Italian brothers equal the efforts of the Joker? Stay tuned to find out.

Added tips for 2D artwork. I'll work on a better video this week. The video didn't upload to YouTube properly.

i just watched the 2d guide - i liked the idea and it was easy to understand, what you are trying to say now the bad - the onscreen text was sometimes way to quick of the screen perfect display time is usually 2x fast reading the reading speed. example: if you read the text you want to display twice very quickly, say 10 seconds, then use this length for the on-screen text. - youtube uses 16:9 aspect ratio. use the space available. you cramped everything into the 4:3 aspect ratio. your editing tool should have this option. btw, edit your videos. trimming is very useful. here is a tutorial video i've made for gears of war 3 to showcase how trimming can reduce viewing time and still show everything important. you don't want to bore your viewers

bendermac, thanks for the tips. I only have Windows Movie maker, so to trim the screen recording the quality gets completely lost and it is very hard to tell what is going on. I'll have to look into more video editing software that doesn't sacrifice the quality of the video. As for the 2D tips, it was created in 16:9 layout, so why YouTube goobered it up I'm not sure. I'll definitely slow it down. Like I said, I read very fast, so I need to know why I need to slow it down. For now, I think I'll leave it as is, but I'm going to try and redo it and get it up again in the next couple of weeks.

I'll have to look into more video editing software that doesn't sacrifice the quality of the video. as for editing software, i cannot speak for windows movie maker. though it should be good for tutorials. if you want more bang i recommend adobe premiere element 11. it's a $100 (can be got cheaper online, amazon has it for $70) editor which is quite good. youtube wont change the aspect ratio on it's own. possibly you've made a mistake during output. always check the files before uploading to ensure everything is proper. why? simple: you are making these tutorials for others. not everyone can read as fast as you do. rewinding videos because text goes away to quickly can become very annoying and you may loose you audience. it's all good... continue with your next projects and try to apply the tips on them. i also recommend watching other tutorials and check how they are done. maybe take notes on things you liked and might be useful for own tutorials. here is another gaming tutorial i've made. it was my first and i would've done it differently today. it's all a learning process to improve

I'm not sure what went wrong, then. I watch the video on my computer, even put it on a flash drive and made sure it worked on another computer, and it was 16:9. why? simple: you are making these tutorials for others. not everyone can read as fast as you do. rewinding videos because text goes away to quickly can become very annoying and you may loose you audience. Eh, that why was suppose to be when. It's been a long week.

I've used it up already trying to make panaromics. Considering it took me 30 days to get that down, I doubt I can get videos down within 30 days.

I think barriers on water has been patched now. Yeah I think it is no longer possible :-( It seems people who already have them on water keep them there, but no new ones can be placed. Erasing doesn't just erase the bridge anymore, but the river too.

Erasing doesn't just erase the bridge anymore, but the river too. That stinks. I had an idea for it... but then again, I have torn down so much I think it is better not to have the temptation.
