For the first time ever in my game:  Thank you. What I enjoy is the bottom of the comment box where it says ´tap each rating to find out how to improve it´. So you tap on it only to find that it´s * all help. What it should read is ´Go to your nearest forum where you will find out how to improve most ratings but they´ll be equally scoobied when it comes to righteousness.´ |

Righteousness is seriously starting to get on my man cleavage. It's set to ramdom right? I have everyone who should be in prison, in prison. My town is practically Singapore in terms of graffiti (none, and any that appears doesn't last long) and yet in the space of an afternoon I have gone from five stars down to one. What the actual heck is that about? One star?! WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME SPRINGFIELD?! *opens vein*
I accepted a half a star drop in the gluttony category when I levelled up to 27, but this has seriously ground my gears.

Is it possible that the -5 is only in effect while the graffiti is sitting there? And so when you remove it, you get +1 from cleaning it up and no longer have the -5 penalty sitting there, giving you an overall net of +1?

I haven't checked my stars since the update and I haven't collected from any of my buildings (or cleaned 'em up) in a week. My star rating should be zero right now  |

I dropped to 1 star earlier today. Cleaned my 4 buildings, visited a neighbor and cleaned 1 building, returned to my town... still 1 star. Cleaned one more building of a neighbor's... 1.5 stars. Cleaned a third... 2.5 stars. Cleaned a fourth... 4 stars. Cleaned a fifth... 5 stars.
So how does this point system work again? Are you sure "rand()" doesn't appear anywhere in the code??

I'll confirm tomorrow, but generally I only see a dip from 5* once every week or two. So I don't expect it to drop at all in the next few days. This is probably dumb question to most, but how on earth can I view the conformometer? It popped up, suddenly, on my screen, right after I could not connect to EA. I have never seen it before and have no idea how to see it. Ok, stop laughing.

We all have dumb questions and that's one of the reasons why we come here: to learn stuff from each other. When you're logged in to your game and look in the lower left corner of your screen, you'll see the yellow stars with your Conform-o-Meter rating along with your game level, current XP, etc. If you tap the stars, the screen with your ratings on each part of the Conform-o-Meter will pop up (as Spud posted in his screenshot). |

Did the same thing this morning but it took me 10 building mops to get back to 5 stars from one. I had to visit 16 friends. |

When I visit neighbors, I start out at 5, then half way through, drop to 4 1/2. Then by the end, I am back to 5. There seems to be no reason, as I have done all kinds of different things. I Just spray away and clean up a few. Who knows?

So, how often and how many friends do you have to visit to get the five star rating on Socialism? Since the end of Valentine's Day, I really only visit about five friends a day.

This is soooooo LAME! I had not even visited my neighbors tonight, when my "goody two shoes" rating went from five to one star, right before my Eyes No graffiti in my town and the bad guys in jail. Go figure. Boo, Hoo!  |

I constantly clean neighbors towns and keep my criminals in jail or detention and I also keep the graffiti out of my town and my rating does not drop that often. If it does I go and clean. This is today's screenshot of my rating. I will collect screenshots over the next several days and see what happens.  |

Mine has done this too. And all I had to do was go clean other peoples' buildings. Mine dropped again two days ago. This time R'ness dropped to 0* and overall dropped to 4* (as opposed to the usual drop to 1* and 4.5* respectively). I only had two buildings to clean in my town, so I cleaned those but didn't have time to visit neighbors or do any other cleaning. Cleaning my two buildings raised my R'ness rating to 1* and overall to 4.5*. The next time I logged in I was back to 5* for both, even though I had four buildings to clean in my town. |

Damn it my righteousness went down today. You know how hard it is to keep a full bar when you can't visit your neighbors. And ea still ain't get back to me it's been over a month.  |

I'm just wondering when you clean up a friends graffi or vandal a friends town you get some Rigteousness points, other at the moment it seems like it's a -5 / +1 system. Excuse me for butting in, me being a newbie to this forum AND newish to tapped out... but you are spot on here. My Righteousness dropped down to 1.5 stars and I had only one building at the time that would show a mop, so I went a-cleanin' up other neighborhoods. Takes 4 or 5 mops to earn back a star, but funny thing is, spray painting seemed to help the effort too. I focused on mops, but if I couldn't find 3, I'd spray instead. Just to add... another day, my consumerism dropped, so I focused on collecting from stores in towns, with the occasional mop so I wouldn't lose what I'd gained there, and it brought me back up to 5 rating in Consumerism and status quo for Righteousness. ...Things that make you go Hmmmm!  -emoticon |

Sorry for the delay everyone. There are a few question marks from the Whacking Day update; the Coliseum, Stadium, Sleep Eazy all have odd coding, but I don't think they are actually helping any part of the conform-O-Meter as of now.
