I still play everyday from the beginning I’m not sure why

It’s force of habit for me. I haven’t organized my town in years. I just put new buildings in vacant lots.

I’m a wee bit late on replying, but I play every day and am still painstakingly redesigning my Springfield with every new event and building, fitting some in to existing zones like my School and University districts, the Healthcare Centre, Restaurant Row along the seaside, the Sporting Zones, the party quarter, Vacation hubs, “Hollywood”, Futureland, etc, etc...

I have only 2 wishes, and one *massive* regret after all this time.

1) The return of a comic book/superhero event so I can get the comic heroes and villains I missed when I was having surgeries to complete my collection.

2) A *good* photo-stitching program with a user interface that morons like myself can use, or a skilled person I can pay to do a regular screenshot-composite of my Springfield, like we were able to do way back a few years ago. The Capture Springfield feature is great, but the resolution on it is soooo bad.

3) My biggest regret: I missed out on the glitch or limited ability when it was around to manufacture more regular Springfield Boardwalk Pier pieces. I am limited to the original max number of boardwalk tiles, and it makes me super sad. I used to have a contact who might have been able to help with that, but their email went dark years ago.

Otherwise, I still love my growing Springfield!

I have the Yellow Submersible in my town and it produces both kinds of seaport tiles.

The ratio of tile vs nothing skews more towards nothing, but it does allow you to get more tiles than the maximum you are allowed to craft.

Could that be an option for you?

haevntr played in years..lost interst and joined another great free ea product....

the sims freeplay… im never going back to tapped out...updates are too big and not enough interest

I still play but I don't clear my buildings and I don't put people on tasks. So I can get in and out now in just a few minutes a couple times a day when there's an event. I miss being INVESTED in an event and being excited, but half assed playing keeps me from burning out completely.

I don't even feel like donut farming. Nothing really cool and new left to buy. By the time something rare comes along, I have enough donuts.

I still play, but it's very clear that the plug will be pulled at some point. I've been farming doughnuts somewhat frequently (12 and 8 hour tasks, setting the recycling tasks with a moderate degree of frequency). I don't get any neighborino visits anymore so I don't know if any friends are still playing.

Can’t help myself and I keep playing everyday.
I just miss the Chatting we used to have in this forum things look very quiet.

I’m still playing but it’s mostly just collecting the prizes. I haven’t designed anything big in a very long time. The characters that are only available if I buy doughnuts has become very annoying.

I'm glad they haven't shut it down but I really want to have fun one more time before it does. Halloween event should be next and I'm not even excited.

After the first two or three years Halloween started becoming one of their worst yearly events I don’t expect them to do it right anymore

I will be happy if they start the Halloween event on time this year. Last year, it didn’t start until 9 days before Halloween and ended the week before Thanksgiving.

Anyone have any good ideas for getting rid of large amounts of cash? Doing rat trucks/blood mobiles/etc is so tedious. I plant corn and broadcast 7 days of tv and put them in storage, but that only costs $19k... and that's also tedious. I sold my escalator, popsicle sticks, and magnifying glass and repurchased them, but that is something one can only do every 3 days.

I ask because I have so much cash that I hit the max and then it makes it even less fun to play. I don't tap my buildings or put characters on jobs because... well, why? I suppose I could get rid of my %walls and bring my bonus down to a reasonable amount but it's still a lot of cash and xp when I fat finger anything.

The Googolplex costs a lot of money to spawn useless SH crap so I did find another thing to burn cash.
