What is the deal with the Mystery Box? It says there are 700+ items. At 30 per, that would be 21,000+ donuts.

I love the mystery box. It contains stuff you can get multiples of, so EVERYONE can buy stuff this time, which is nice. If you keep tapping refresh, the items available change. It's a great deal if you get lucky and get what you want on your first or second buy. I got Hans Moleman. I don't know why I hadn't gotten him before. I'm going to spend way too much time trying to line up five good prizes.
Like I don't need ANOTHER Homer/Lisa/Krusty/Burns skin. Or a premium skin for a premium character. Or a second of an item I already have. But I don't have Jasper and I'm still mad about Easter a few years ago and not getting Sean or Shari.

It reckons 20% chance per set of 5 but I’ve done well and got the good ones straight away. The whale was good - an extra 7% first time! |

Me too! Whale on first try for the box. I'd NEVER spend 3 digit donuts on it but I always tap it when visiting friends' towns.
I did get Jasper and Sean. I'm debating how salty I still am three, four years later about Shari Bobbins.

Thanks, I didn't realize it is a 1-in-5 chance instead of 1-in-700+ chance. I just got King Snorky, so I, too, love this rendition of the Mystery Box.
Edit: I suppose new players get 700+ items in their boxes, but I had about 250. ... e/n

I've gotten so many prizes and still have 3k donuts.
But I can't find the Ice Palace in the boxes and I read it's there. Anyone seen it or gotten it? I'm wondering if it was a mistake and confused with King Winter's cave.

And here I thought mine was bugged, because there were only two items in the box that I could get...old characters I had somehow missed....but I was SURE there was more I’m missing. When I click on the box now, nothing happens. Guess I really am an addict....  |

After several purchases I too have nothing left to buy but there is no way I have every item that has ever been released so I'm baffled

There's a lot of stuff missing. I don't think it's every item ever. I know there are a few things I don't have that I don't see.
