What's your opinion about the themed mystery boxes?
They are around for a while now. Technically they are like the $%!* wheels everyone seemed to hate, but worse as you have to pay donuts for the chance to end up with things you wouldn't buy if they are in the store. I admit I bought one at the winter event as the free ones didn't got me the Monorail station (and was lucky), and had a few shots at Valentines to get Brandine (but only because I liked all the other things in the box). But now there are too many items in the boxes I don't want.

If the selection is ok, I tend to buy a few. I like discounts. I just bought three. I wanted the twonicorn but it was too expensive. Getting it in a mystery box was ok by me.

I dont buy much from that box.
What it is really like the wheel of doom is the crafting. No choice to buy onky what we want unless grinding fir points and giving it away. 5,500 between levels! HATE IT !!

HATE IT !! I agree, this level crafting is bulls*$@. EA: give us all items to craft in each act and let us decide what we want. Then for the next act unlock the next batch. |

I got the Shadow Knight a few days ago and his "go on a killing spree" is my new favorite animation. I hope he runs into Brandine, who's protecting us from terrorists.

I really do not like mystery boxes because it can be a waste of donuts. However in the pagan winter update I really wanted the stonecutters pyramid. So I shot and got the playable alien. My next mystery box was the pyramid so it worked out. This midevil mystery box really has nothing that suits me. I may of got the twonicorn alone, but I ain't risking extra for it. The mystery box for July the only thing I really want is Nixon and Abraham Lincoln. But we will see if I spend donuts or not for a possible don't want.

For me, it depends on what's in the box. I already had Buck McCoy & Luke, so I didn't bother with the Time Capsule box. The Medieval box turned out great. I already had the Barbarian Statue and Catapult zonks, as well as Seamus & Notre Dame. I got Shadow Bart, Queen Lisa, and Two-nicorn for 180 donuts (originally 425), and avoided the freak show tent. |

I had nothing or next to nothing for 4th Box. I wanted Washington or Lincoln, but was afraid I'd get one of the lesser prizes. I mean, all great values, but I don't want ANOTHER Lard Lad or a premium skin for already-premium Kumiko.
I got Washington and I'm not going to press my luck further. Yay!
