TSTO FORUM PHOTO CHALLENGE Homer knows it's time for a new Forum Photo Challenge!! Time to stop grinding reels and reels of film or clapboards or megaphones, and make a movie of your own. A MONSTER hit! Everyone who completes the following by the end of the TSTO Halloween event will receive the following badge for their profile:
To receive this wicked awesome Halloween/THOH 2016 badge the following must be completed:
- Change your username to something Halloween/THOH themed.

[li] What is the title of your movie? What is happening in this scene? [/li]
[li] Photo/Screenshot from the user's Springfield of their own Horror movie with the following required elements: Lisa as movie director At least 5 SF "actors" in costume (there will likely be kids with Trick or Treat tasks returning and come on, most of our characters have SOME kind of costume now..) Costumes can include anything a character wears that is not their default clothing. Can be from a skin OR a job At least 10 Halloween themed decorations new and old (come on.. spooky hedges, pumpkins, balloons... get creative!) Incorporate at least one Halloween building, tree, pumpkin, and miscellaneous spooky decoration At least 5 monsters- could be the current ones Springfielders are fighting, or older NPCs like the zombie or the skeleton, etc. Even the scary Burns Monster from 2012!!! Kang and Kodos also qualify along with the Space Marshmallow and those spitting rats that seem to have sprouted wings recently. If you are wondering if something you want to include is a monster or not, it probably is!! Springfielders who have eaten a zombie sandwich can be counted as EITHER actors or monsters, but not both. Please submit your entry before midnight on November 15 as that is the estimated time the Pics and Rec Dept. Halloween candy will be gone. (Who are we kidding! The candy will be gone long before then!!) [/li][/ul] |

 Little Lisa wanted to do a Day In The Life Of Springfield film, a quiet piece, maybe black and white, showing the good side of Springfield. Unfortunately, craft services went awry with a tainted sandwich and infected her subjects, turning her slice of life film into a real SLICE of life film. |

Okay, I think I got everything.  It's called "Night of the Living Head," and Greta is assisting Lisa in directing. Synopsis: When the image of a large, spooky head mysteriously appears in a field near Town Hall, Flanders convinces fellow townies that the Donocalypse has arrived. Suggestive thought creates a hivemind, placebo-effect-like scenario, in which residents believe themselves to be turning into zombies. Really, it's just all in their minds, and the consequence of a spikey-haired boy's prank gone wrong. Come back next week for a whole new series of previews that absolutely won't give away the plots to movies you're about to watch! |

So I try  The Creature from the Black Lagoon, but this being related to the Simpsons, It's a bit out of wack, the steroids must have kicked in and here we have IT fighting a big worm elbow to elbow with Death. Director Lisa, is running to the bathoom, no time to dress up as director, lunch had some strange broccoli that didnt agree with her and made green too... Assorted monsters, props and costumed actors complete the "take" |

 In my Springfield, Lisa is making the movie "As the Worms Turn". In this scene, poison spewing worms have come to town. Their poison has caused several of the residents to turn into zombies. The others are trying to destroy the worms before they spin back into the ground. |

ALAS! I found the inspiration I needed! (and most everything was already in place!)   Full SizeMovie Title: Worms of Doom! Scene Synopsis: Lisa's movie is about Cletus being a 'redneck mad scientist' who has been experimenting with some 'new-fangled bait worms.' Unfortunately his experiments went horribly wrong and has caused giant mutant worms that have turned many of Springfield's finest into flesh crazed ZOMBIES!!! Lisa is in the center trying to get her zombie cast to act more dead and less 'hollywood zombie' while her worm warriors are practicing their fight scene. As for the scene requirements: Lisa as director: Check At least 5 Springfield residents in costume: Pretty sure there are more zombies than that! Halloween themed decorations including at least 1 halloween building etc.: I've got the construction yard, and the catacombs, plus there are lots of bats, a spooky lamp post. There's also one of the tentacle trees from a couple Halloweens ago, the zombie sandwich, I even remembered a spooky tree behind the silo! I am ashamed that I forgot the jack o' lanterns though... But I did have some pumpkin patches! at least 5 monsters: 4 worms, plus the blinky monster trying to show one of those worms that there's only enough room in this town for 1 monster! Forum name and Avatar have been there for all month! hehe I think that's it! I'm happy I finally found my mojo....  |
