It's still a work in progress, but since Duff Dawg asked so kindly, here is my ongoing future section: Full Size

Very nice! Mine....pretty much all going into storage so it's just dumped down at the moment that's no fun. You have to be creative and fit it in somehow I have, I believe, at least one of everything on display (perhaps a bench or small item notwithstanding). I just have themed areas for all events

brettolmsted Mine is obviously a work-in-progress, but here's what I have so far. I absolutely abhor it.I had to bend over backwards to clear this space, and it's still not enough. I'm shooting for an amusement park theme. Burns' "soul extraction" building might have to go into inventory after the event, along with Lisa's "rock star" thingy, which is bigger than Donald Trump's ego. And a big middle finger to the game, for making me pull out the Reneducation center, or whatever it's called. Hrrumph! In any case, I do really like the items in this event; I just wish I had more space. It would have been nice to have the rest of Heights unlocked, opposed to the strip of land to the right. That has seriously messed me up.Oh, and Brett, I don't suppose the item limit has been increased, has it? -------- EDIT: Like I told you before, your setup rocks. Forgot to mention that. You put the rest of us to shame.

Just one of many 'new simpsons' crappy episodes. Just erks me that there's a lot of crap from very very crap episodes because they are new and so much good stuff not used from early episodes (when the simpsons was actually good) that would fit much better and wouldn't need themed areas to justify it

I stopped watching the show (there, I said it) about a year ago, as the new episodes are gimmicky and just crummy in general, but I do love most of the items from this event. Stephen Hawking?! Yes, please! I'll probably end up spreading some of these builds out around town though. I like what you have going on there. And yes, there was a modest increase of about 400 Items to the deco limit YES!!! I'll take the 400! I've been toying with moving part of my Homer face to border the monorail track indefinitely (albeit changing his "makeup" to suit the season), but wasn't going to be able to do it without that ceiling being raised (not if I wanted to also keep my main doodling area, at least). So now I DO get to keep him here! This makes me so happy, woot! EDIT: Or maybe I'll put him elsewhere. This section might be good for finally having a designated Christmas area instead.

Now, half of each episode consists of commercials, and the writing for the actual content... is just plain bad.

I can not watch any "live" tv shows anymore because of excessive commercials. Everything I watch is recorded and seen later as I can get through nearly 3 shows in the amount of time it takes to watch one "live."

Pretty sure The Simpsons is never shown live, it'd be a terrible strain on the animators

I'm pretty sure that's why he put "live" in quotes though. wink, wink, nudge, nudgeThey did have one supposedly live segment in an episode not too many months back (the only show I tuned into for more than a year). I don't buy it (different nations saw different "live" broadcasts). It was a disaster.

Well I've got my basic Future Springfield laid out but not detailed in but I'll share the entrance and how I've used parts of this update in other parts of my SF. Future SF entrance Future condo as a promo condo at Red Blazer Realty Clock tower as part of my main casino area Homer's idea home as part of the small boardwalk beside Squidport entrance. I'm really frustrated that this was available to on Squidport tiles or at least on the beach. Oh well, I don't think this is its final resting place. Robot suit and crashed airplane with Soilant Red complex And self-explanatory sciency area The future Simpson's house and Kwik-E-Mart as normal parts of town.

I don't have a future Springfield area. Instead I have some buildings and objects scattered in my Springfield. For example the Big dig ben and the retro houses are in my urban area. I put the dig ben behind them to make it look taller: The Elysium Project is the entrance to the Hyperstadium: The Giant Robot and Future-Proofed Home are part of the Institute of Technology: Parkology fits in the entrance to my Springfield park: I made a Residential area with the Home of Tomorrow and Homer's dream house: The polyvac and the Dome-icile are part of the Atomic Super Collider: The soul extraction institute and the Skyberdine Systems are in my skyscraper area: And that area around is my future corner: With a close up view of the Mech Robot:
