I saw somewhere that extra Christmas Coins were turned into donuts at the end. Is that right?
If so, when did you know that was happening? December 31st or Jan 1 after it was all over? I want to figure out what to do with all my hearts on Feb 28... Buy things I don't want and cash them in or hold onto them and hope for donuts on March 1?

The last two weeks, you were able to buy Santa stockings for 50 coins. They contained 1,2 or 3 donuts, or a reindeer.
I'm guessing they won't do something similar but it's all speculation. If nothing is coming, make sure you spend the hearts BEFORE Feb. 28 because it will likely disappear that day and you'll be out of luck. If no stockings, I'm going to buy trains and then sell them for cash.

Also, since you weren't around for Christmas, then you obviously weren't around for the Halloween candies, where no stockings or anything similar were provided. The candies disappeared at the end, so there's precedence for getting nothing.

At the end of the promotion, we got to trade in our extra coins for 'mystery stockings' which either had a reindeer or 1-3 donuts in each stocking. They were 50 coins each and we were told a little while before the end of the christmas promo, if I remember right. Nobody knows if they'll be doing something similar with the hearts. They can just take them away like they did with the Halloween treats. ETA: Answer was posted while I was typing  |

I think one of the reasons we were able to trade in Xmas coins for donuts was to make up for the glitch the happened when the update first came out. If you remember, most folks were locked out of the game for a week or so and it was during the coin collection period. Everyone was in an uproar about being locked out. I'm thinking EA was just being kind and making up for it...just my 2 cents though. Not expecting (but hoping) for a similar end to the Valentines hearts.

Unless you just started (low level player) or if you are ridiculously poor I don't see the point in selling limited items. At lvl 26 I make approx. 50,000$/day, so the items are worth more to me in storage than the 10$/heart. Right now I dont have much use for another 250 rose bushes, but I might tomorrow... |
