It early in the update but that doesn't mean we all haven't started finding places for all the cool new items. As opposed to lumping them together in one large Halloween themed area I went ahead and found permanent homes for the items that are available so far. Obvious spot for the campfire. Maze as part of my mini-golf area. Also one of my favorite parts of my town. What do you do with something that goes with no other building? Stick it in the water. I've had the half demolished house layout in the past but the new portal fits so well I'm going to leave it like this. And finally, and least, I hid the ruin behind the spooky house for now. Hopefully one of you guys will inspire me with a better place for it. Let's see what you guys come up with!

Loving what you have done with the steps to nowhere. Great idea +1 The maze is a really difficult one to place. I wish you could buy more of them if you wanted too as I think it would look better bigger Decided to go for the classic Halloween area in my town. I'm actually kinda liking it though it may well remain like it after the event. It depends what new items are added though

Some good ideas here. I really need some inspiration, so many things to use but cant design any decent layout so far.

I like the Brambles as a fence. And the stair to nowhere as a sculpture. I am on the fence with the ruins sitting on a plaza though.

okay, I have seen some people say the new Ancient Ornamental Pond works great with Rancho Relaxo but I see it as Camp Crystal Lake

Updated Stairs to Nowhere with Sunken Tower Wacky Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Elder Gods trying to help Herb sell cars. And though not really a part of the Halloween update here is Bob's Victorian House. I added it to my small gated community.

I made the sunken temple and alien gods into a Squidport sideshow. I have tried the remove tiles from under alien gods, doesn't work. Too bad, as they would go great with the recycling collector. Note that Elvis has been found. Top right corner, wisely backing away from the copperhead.

The ruins are atop an ant mound.

I thought the Sunken and Impossible towers matched pretty well with the castle walls and the Dark Knight's throne.

Not sure how much more of the ruins I can pack in together. Would be nice to get some stone walls in this color scheme though.

Would be nice to get some stone walls in this color scheme though. the halloween party walls are pretty close in color and design with them being stone and having the green ivy on them. Check out my town to see how they can look (and I used some of the ivy/eyeball walls as well)

brettolmsted, I just checked yours out. I like the alternating bramble to skull wall but was curious if you had tried this: to make up for the depth difference. Not sure it looks any better but seeing yours made me go experiment.
