It has been more than 1.5 years since my last Panorama and I was dreading it with the increased size of our SF's. I had nothing but problems with getting such a large file saved after the tediousness of stitching. Because of that, that quality isn't what I would like it to be, and you can't zoom in as much as you should be able to (though that will prevent you from seeing all my stitching errors). Mitzy I did it So what do you think? Where can I improve?  Larger Size |

You found a place for everything and have beautifully designed every inch of your Springfield that's pretty much a winning town, there's now wasted space where u just drop stuff

I have every building out and basically every deco (just like 1 or 2 of the new SH trees and like the steps to some monorail stations) Yeah that water in the corner is now solid land again war in for Halloween tomorrow. The problem is I am at like 7450 items and have already hit the limit 2 times this week |

brettolmsted all I have to say is wow! Well done for having the patience to do your new pano. Must have taken forever but it's great to see your town in its full glory. I would like to say your post has inspired me to do mine but after hearing of the problems you had I think I'll skip it  Your town is one of my faces so I wouldn't change a thing +1

I would like to say your post has inspired me to do mine but after hearing of the problems you had I think I'll skip it Your town is one of my faces so I wouldn't change a thing +1 the stitching really wasn't horrible, but just took a while and like 170 images (though I did have a lot of issues on the final corner). The hard part for me was that I do my stitching in Adobe Illustrator, which keeps the files large. Because I forgot to reduce the size of the images before stitching (and then zooming in) my final image was outside the bounds of the page. Illustrator kept crashing and would not let me have enough time to copy/paste/reduce size. I may try to stitch it again to get it right, but doubtful. I would love to see yours as when/if I visit neighbors, I also admire yours |

I love getting lost in your town! So much to see, via monorail or "on foot!"
Can't imagine how you're going to squeeze in Halloween, but I'm sure you'll do it. The deco cap is the next great frontier. EA has really answered the pleas for new land and now even tap management. Not to mention almost non-stop new content. We need a higher item cap now more than ever.
I've been thinking about a new panorama, but it's daunting. Bravo!

brettolmsted have you tried using photoshop for a pano. It usually works very well but now you say you took over 170 screenshots I really don't think I'll be doing that any time soon  Bluestem2722 I love your town. Always have. You have such a pretty and elegant design technique which I love. Up there with my top neighbours I love to visit +1

You shouldn't be seeking advice on how to improve you should be giving others advice on how to improve.
I love your town, all the little subtle details. Everything makes sense and looks great. I especially love how you've grouped all your buildings into districts. Some of your groupings leave me envious. Bottom left hand corner you've put most of the smoke stacks together. I looked at that and thought, why didn't I do that? Perfect. It's just one small aspect, I could point out a hundred more things I love. Overall your town has always been a stand out.

There are about 3 or 4 towns that I go into and shop around for ideas when I'm stuck on where to put a building or decorations. Yours is definitely one of them. The time and effort to get it just right and sneaking in subtle little jokes in the details is what its all about and you've got it down to a science. Great town man.

I wish my town was ready for a pano but too many incomplete areas it won't look nice yet an then I'll have to hire someone cuz I can't do a pano myself without a computer but I'm not gonna ask anyone to do one
