I'm just so excited that the Halloween season is just about here. I'm so excited that I am just about to bust, actually. So, I thought I would get the ball rolling on what we should expect in the new update. We have had Zombies, Ghosts and Aliens. What could be next. Vampires? Witches? Heck, I would love, love, LOVE an event based around the giant store mascots taking up Springfield -- just because I want an angry animated Lard Lad in front of the Donut Shop. It would be pretty obvious who and how would get event rolling for everyone who has seen the episode. Other than that, there is still a whole lot of characters and buildings that could be released: Donut head Homer Jack in the Box Homer The frogurt salesman, hell, we already have his store Patty and Selma as witches with there mountain lair Island of Doctor Hibbard and tow people animals Homer robot with Burns and Smithers and secret lab Nightmare Cafeteria is filled with fun stuff 3D Homer Freddy Kruger Willie and the Bagpipe monster he turned into Skin Eater skins from the Homega Man to go with the car we already have I know what you did Flanders / Warewolf Flanders Cloning Hamack that generates Homer Clones THE HOMER BLOB FOR PETE'S SAKE Oh yeah, what about EVIL HOMER while I am think about it. I mean GEEZ, that's just off the top of my head. What do you all think. I would just love to have a conversation about this to help pass the time till we get the update, so please chime in   |

I hope it's a vampire Theme this year. So we can get Edmund, Count Dracula and the Cathedral.

I would really like the oversize mascots! And it seems like they would work particularly well hovering over the monorail tracks!
I think the Island of Dr. Hibbard is also a great guess.
I am not OCD about this game, but is does bug me that they go from beautiful green summer to foggy mist and bare trees in a snap. Then after halloween is over, the leaves are back with autumn colors. I wish we'd have autumn colors first, then maybe the actual week of Halloween go to fog and bare trees. That fog is hard on the eyes, and a week of it is enough!
I think maybe we have at least one more update before Halloween though?

Here in Chicago, they do this crazy thing with our elevated trains at Christmas. They have the Santa train. This fool Santa rides around the city in 10 or 20 degree temps 25 feet in the air at 50 mph! It's fabulous! I dare you not to smile ear to ear when you see this sailing by! I think our monorail system should have special cars for all of the holidays! Halloween is a natural. I think about that devil float we got a couple years back. Now on the monorail, THAT's fun! Oh, and movies. We need event themed movies at the drive in.  |

The weirdest christmas thing I saw while I was there was seeing thousands of drunken Santas biking around town from one bar to another during the Santa Cycle Rampage. Holiday skins for the monorail are a must! |

But Wes Craven wasn't a guest star. And it's not even his character, it's Willie in his costume. And there's also the fact he didn't play Kreuger, he created the character. |

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday, and I will love to see what new characters/skins are generated, but above all, I CAN'T WAIT to see the spooky atmosphere added to our towns again, or at least the colorful changing of the leaves! We're getting our first cold air in FL today, btw! We're going to plunge all the way down to 85-degrees!  If we get neither fall leaves or spooky atmosphere in the game this season, I shall delete it for good... again.  Also, I failed to remember to fully stock up on "dead trees" for two years in a row. I shall be remedying that one finally... I hope. *I'm so not drawing the next Mafia pic (SM4) during this, btw, and I want more time to finish rails and such before "the change" rolls in!* |

OMFG... Something as simple as a skin for Lard Lad where when you tap it Lard Lad guy comes to life and smashes the ground with the donut like in the opening scene of the THOH episodes.... That'd be friggin FANTASTIC....
I'm overall open to just about anything for halloween.. it's my favorite holiday...

One nice thing that could be fun: Involve the adults in the kids trick or treating... perhaps tasks for them where they stand outside their respective houses and hand out the candy, and those tasks could earn event currency as well as the kids trick or treating... You can bet they'll probably involve SH somehow... Perhaps there's room to involve KL too? Rides gone haywire? |

Yes I'm aware of all of that, however their thought process is most likely the same they don't think hey let's give them these characters as a tribute to this guy, no they say this guys dead let's not use any characters related to him.
