OK so I've gotten to the stage where I am able to begin crafting the superhero city but being both unobservant and lazy, I've not really got a clue what it's all about. I mean, I get the basic idea but not the actual details. It's probably all in a tab on the game. Is it in a tab on the game? I should probably look. Anyway, I've gotten that you can get lock picks from criminals and telephones from friends visits. The handcuffs seem to come from successfully catching the prison escapees. Is that right? What about the other thing? The...cape?
Also, can this all feasibly done without donuts? 2 days in and I've not collected much of anything except telephones.
A little help please...

Give me a few, Peru, I'm doing some math. The capes come from your main tower, once every four hours along with the pies. Editing shortly...EDIT:Note: I'm not sure if upgrading your tower will help you collect more of the harder-to-collect items or not; I'm sure someone else here can tell you. I keep forgetting to check).Okay, so you get cuffs every time you beat a felon. The felons/convicts only generate once every 8 hours. Because of this, and having to combat them once every 3/4 hours, any sane person really can't manage more than 2 cuffs a day. I did once... shhh. The phones are easy. You get them by visiting friends and tapping their buildings. Not hard to accumulate at all; they rack up fast. The picks come from normal bandit-popping in your main land. While semi-rare to find in a pop... there are tons of bandits, so I'd say you're pretty safe there, as long as you keep clearing them out at least a couple of times a day. The capes come from the main tower, along with the pies once every 4 hours, so 2 a day is easy, though you can obviously get 3/4 if you have a bit more time. -------- That said... this event goes until the 31st (edit: but the collections only last until the 24th). It's currently the 4th. That leaves 27 20 days left for the event. -------- The quest itself is only for the apartments, store, and loft, but here's what you'll need for all 5 items, with the tough/most-time-sensitive ones being in bold.- Times (optional for quest): 100 picks, 30 capes, 15 cuffs- Apartments: 15 capes, 15 phones - Storefront: 10 cuffs, 20 phones - Lofts: 65 picks, 10 cuffs- Phone booth (optional for quest): 10 picks, 5 phones I have the lofts and phone booth so far. For my remaining structures, I'll need: -- 24 more cuffs, so at 2 a day, that'll be 12 days -- 17 more capes, so at 3 a day, that'll be about 6 days -- 116 more picks, which show up randomly in home-popping, but will surely be finished under 12 days -- god knows how many phones; they really don't matter as much since they're so easy to get and I have tons That makes 12 days before I have all builds, well under the 27 20 left. I started the crafting... maybe... 4 days ago. ---------- Shoot me what you need for cuffs and capes, and I'll do the math for your town.

Shouldn't be that hard. Since i hit that point, work has kept me from playing much. And today was the first time i did neighbor visits since i got the task. No matter how many quotes have been quoted. *we haven't seen this before* In any case, pie-wise, you at least earn the donuts from the excess. Or maybe donuts aren't a problem for you, bah. I shall do evil things to your town!

It appears that by limiting the handcuffs the way they did, EA designed this collection such that it is realistic for a regular (at least checking in twice daily) player to get one of each building without having to resort to donuts.
A second apartment is also not too hard as capes are a little easier to get. And people who really work on fighting felons and can play regularly, a second loft or storefront may be possible (e.g. I still need 24 cuffs for get the Times and the store front, which I could do in 11-12 days, leaving me 6 days for another 10).
Seems like a reasonably fair way to set this up.
