Instead of multiple threads always talking about the same thing and clogging up the forum, please keep anything relating to DLC issues such as 'Bart pulling the plug on the Router' screen in this thread.
This will help everyone in the long term as this is a Sticky thread now, so everyone can find it instead of starting a new one.

I have this issue right now and it happens often. I can access my town with the iPhone but when I try with the iPad I get Bart's screen; or vice versa.
Why? I can't understand !!

One thing that could be happening is there my be a corrupted download archive in the DLC cache. Have you tried reinstalling the app? I've not downloaded the new app onto my iPad yet so can't confirm if it's an issue due to a missing file on EA's end. So I would suggest deleting and reinstalling the app if you haven't already done so. |

Bart screen for more than a hour now. There is not one single day for over a month now where I haven't seen him.

For the last 6 hours I'm getting the Bart Screen. Has anybody else troubles to connect to the server?

Yes, periodically i do have issues. If i cant log in after trying 10-20 times (lol) i will usually just find something to do for an hour or so and try again. I said it in the past and still strongly feel the non-connectivity comes from an overwhelming amount of people trying to play at the same time while the server is freaking out because it doesn't know what to do except give people the sneaky Bart screen. Example.. My wife and i both play, where as we can be sitting side by side and one of us will get Bart while the other gets game play. Usually, we can both log on and play. Rarely have we both been locked out at the same time.

I seem to hit this issue consistently when the clock changes for me (i.e. 12 AM EST). It's usually not a problem, since I have the 8 hour tasks already set and it's only the people without 8 hour tasks (or more profitable short ones) who are stuck overnight.

Me too, I was just a couple of towns into my friend visits, the game crashed and now all I get is the Bart screen

Hope we are back on soon! with EA It would take ages before they have their act together. Even my goverment is more effective. |

I've noticed (or rather, remembered) that the last time I had the Bart screen issue, I could get on with my iPhone, just not my iPad. Lo and Behold, I tried it on my iPhone one morning when my iPad wouldn't load and I got in.

Well, I tried to visit my neighbors tonight and just gave up for tonight! got tossed off twice and now my timers are a mess. Groan!
