People have posted some amazing, complicated 3D images on this board. I would like to see some of the smaller 3D items people have created. It may be a first attempt, something using different materials, or something made by a budget conscious tapper. I love coming across these creations when I visit neighbors. Here is my sad attempt to make palm trees. They kind of look like something a five year old would draw, so I consider them a work in progress. They were a gift for a friend who lamented the fact that we didn't have palm tree accessories.

Love them! The one with Barney on seems closest, I love how Moe is being a peeping Tom in one of them haha.

Fraggle, you should put those near Pimento Grove! That was kind of what started the idea. But they don't quite look right. Near the building the impact is gone. I need to play with them. I like the trash cans though - they are the right color and texture.

Here's the escalator in my 3D area. I've been asked to post it before and I figured now was a good time since I'll be tearing it down soon. I put a "last chance to exit" stairway at the top. It looks better animated, but you get the idea.

You couldn't get more minimalist 3D than my modern sculpture in my park

And I do believe some of the boxes you created in this space a while ago served as the template for the torches around my temple and El Chemistri.

You couldn't get more minimalist 3D than my modern sculpture in my park I really like the things that people have done with the fencing for 3D effects, but haven't really had the time or the space to play with it too much myself. You have some really cool, creative stuff happening. If you have room can I send you an invite? No worries if you are full up, we can still swap pictures and drink at Moe's.

Thanks Fraggle! I'll bring it back in some other form, but right now it's in the way of my redesign plans.

I like those palm trees a lot ... I've got some simple little 3D things in my town: Here's the fence around my school-prison. Here's the fence the City put up so citizens wouldn't have to see Homer's yard. Here's Homer's box thingy. And here's a bizarre little monument I just built.
