90 Days. I've been growing corn for 90 days. And now it's ready to harvest. But that stupid XP is not accumulating. Harvest? And lose 9000XP. Or wait?  What would you do? |

I'd harvest, the exp thing is no big deal for me though. Bonus levels will come and go Remember to have all your bonus multipliers out though  |

Harvest. Imagine waiting 90 days and then letting it wither?! I had to harvest mine the second it was done, I'd waited so long.
Definitely something I'm never going to grow again!

petergeenen - I would hate to see that happen! However, if it does wilt you can probably convince a neighbor to tap it for you and bring it back to life. (I forgot about my corn when it was finally ready to harvest and A Bad Example revived it for me.) Though, I don't know how many times you can revive a wilted crop so it is a bit of a gamble...

You could create a basic second Springfield, befriend yourself and keep your corn refreshed?

I will be asking myself the very same question two weeks from now. I say keep it (as a decoration), who really needs the money/xp anyway? But then we have a new problem, will we still be able to send Cletus on tasks here and complete them without harvesting at the same time?
I did have Flanders on his snowmobile for this very reason (as a decoration), throughout the Valentine event and I was able to collect his Valentine cards without accepting the "thumbs up".
...eventually you will complete it by accident (be it a limited time task you like, crops or whatever).

petergeenen I would say hold off for as long as poss, although would it wilt away if left to long? Ive only grown the corn once and collected it straight away  Would be a waste to see all that XP to go to waste   |

petergeenen - I would hate to see that happen! However, if it does wilt you can probably convince a neighbor to tap it for you and bring it back to life. (I forgot about my corn when it was finally ready to harvest and A Bad Example revived it for me.) Though, I don't know how many times you can revive a wilted crop so it is a bit of a gamble... I think you can revive pretty much indefinitely. One of my neighbours is a friend from real life and she gave up on her town months ago, but I can't bring myself to remove them. I've been reviving their moonshine daily incase they decide to return. |

OR do a test with one of the houses to see if it's accumulating at the moment before harvesting it. Mine stops intermittently so when a new building is up, I use the Simpsons house to test if it's accumulating before clicking the finish build sign. |

If I can remember not to tap it when cleaning the rest of the town. |

How much XP do you need to fill your meter? Mine is about 200k and I bought a ton of wind socks getting a little over 3k a piece. I was able to get to a new bonus level doing that. If you meter is low like mine, you could do that with the corn XP, so you wouldn't have to wait.

I just levelled up right before the update. 700000 (700k) in one sitting is a bit much. |

Maybe now would be a good time to buy a boatload and claim a refund because the the prem items aren't gaining a bonus lol |

Thanks to the friends that tapped my corn. I saw two handshakes. So, yesterday evening, when it was confirmed that XP was fixed, I harvested. First tap gave me a big pile of cash and XP. One handshake remained. So I tapped one more time. Two piles of cash and XP. Woohoo!!! Checked the total of my XP, and yes double payout. So from now on people, if you see crops from a friend are ready. Tap it. Hopefully it always works like that.   |
