I'm closing in on 3 weeks locked out of my game (which is by far the longest, but is only the latest such time this has happened). So I'm wondering: what's the longest you've ever been locked out, either because of account problems, Harp of Death, or server problems?
And if you're willing to share, please post a comment about how you got back in. Was it just patience (as with server problems)? Did someone from EA actually solve the problem? Did another player get you back in? I'm planning to share these results with EA Customer Service--who may very well ignore them, but just want you to be aware before posting anything...

This was before harpies came around, but I was locked out back in February for a few hours.

When I planted my Burns Manor I got locked out for 2 hours. Turned off the auto lock on my phone, closed out all background apps, and let it harp away until I got back in. iPhone 4. Then I went and bought an iPad mini and have never had a problem since.

Well, I guess I'll jinx myself here - I have not had any major problems (other than the Christmas update - when everyone had problems). I will note, I think a lot has to do with Origin -- I keep my friends short. Also, I play on both an iPhone 4 and iPad 3 -- neither gives me major problems.

I play on an iPad 2 mainly and every now n then my iPhone5 (but that only recently) i have 100 friends too and *touch wood* i have been fine  Isn't the iPhone 5 solving a lot of the harpies issues for people? |

I only re-installed it on the 5 as a back up really Good to know - I switch devices during the day.... |

I play on the ipad2 and haven't had any trouble except for last summer or when everyone seems to have trouble at the same time.

Almost 3 days
And I was just able to get in. No idea why. Certainly wasn't EA helping. They responded 8 days later with the form letter telling me to delete and reinstall.

I got plain locked out for a few days. No harpies, it just opened up my springfeild, and before it loaded, it crashed. lakooo, thanks for trying to do this. |

Only problem I've ever had (knocks on wood, throws salt, etc...) was day 2 of the Xmas event. I was locked out for about 6 hours with server issue and thought my life as I knew it was over! Lol! I was kinda hoping for the harpies since I knew there were helpful's on here that could get me back in, but I really wanted some of that donut glitch lovin'  |

It was either during the Halloween update or Christmas where origin went down and I wasn't able to play for a couple of days.

Main account got harped twice, secondary got harped once, and Forumfield got harped once. Main account was about three days a piece. The first time harpies had just started so it took my a while to figure out what to do. I tried everything and finally something worked. The second time I wasn't in a hurry to get back in. The other two, eh, around 24 hours because I was too lazy to leave my phone running.

First harp was locked out maybe 5 days before josh from this board got me back. Last time was locked out for 3 weeks and finally got a contact (again ty josh) at ea to straighten me out.

I got locked out in dec on a day that many other ppl got locked out due to server problems so i was locked out for most of a day and cudnt log in until the nxt mourning

Locked out twice due to harpies, but less than a day to get back in both times thanks to joshhuffman and jimcoleman78. No donut glitch either time, but I don't really mind. I'm just glad there are people like Josh and Jim around who volunteer to help those who can't help themselves.
Kinda expecting it again tonight as I'm building the hospital after being unable to make progress for almost 2 weeks. It seems to happen after buildings complete for me. Here's hoping for a bit of luck and no infection this time.

lakooo have you thought of setting up another SF? It's such a shame you been out for such a long time. My hubby's first town was locked completely and he set up another one with lots of harpies. Said if he lost this one, won't bother to play again. As for myself, luckily I never got any harps, hope that will stay.

Was locked out for two days with the man I hate this screen. Had to close every app I had opened the reopen tsto. Ea told me I was on my own like I'm on my own now. Ever since last update I visit none of my neighbors.

Jesus how did some of you even keep playing !!! If i was locked out over a week i would have given a EA a quite harsh peiece of my mind.
And especially missing a holiday event....
