EDIT Just blew up my Burns Manor and did a total overhaul. Felt the waterfront view needed waterfront access (bleh, green water).  |

TBH the 3D effect looks much better without the snow But saying that it still looks good I have big respect for anyone who does the whole 3D thang as whenever i do it (well Try) it never seems to go to plan lol Have a look at my town next time bro you will see two volley ball courts with benches round it......majorly poor attempt :lol: Will do! Check out my volley ball court in my White House development. Think I got the effect down by using transparent (see iron rail) pieces in the foreground. |

Oooo, I'm so excited to see this thread. I spent about two hours today and every cent of money I had to complete my Burns Manor. Whew it was hard work! I couldn't quite get all of it into picture, but here's the best I could do. The white house is the gate access building.  |

No Mausoleum so went the other way and made the most ironic Burns Manor I could make. But still fits thanks to X-Files episode. And full scale diorama at the bottom that makes you think (not much but it does).  |

I swear I didn't mean to destroy it...  Thanks everybody! I started out looking at the manor for about 60 minutes and getting nothing. Only thing I knew was to follow generic shape of Burns Manor from the show with gate to the right of Manor looking from outside and the road curving to the left. Then decided to put 4 $ shape together in a form and put 4 fountains inside (you can make out 4 S with cupid arrows shooting the line down for $ shape). Then decided to put one arch for a gateway... then went overboard and couldn't stop. Yada, yada, yada... 3 weeks later I stopped tinkering with it. Moving the whole thing 3 spots so I can create the visual of 45 degree road wasn't fun but thought it was worth it at the end. This game definitely needs multi-selecting and moving. Don't ask me how my other part of town looks. Spent nothing on those and looks crappy. But I seriously couldn't stop tinkering with the Burns Manor. I was his slave for 3 weeks. |
