Hey Guys, Been a bit inspired this week to do something with vehicles. I've seen a couple of great designs that have turned the buffet into an airport - and the love train into a full on railway. I'd like to run my live show this week on those themes so I've given you a bit of extra time to get designing. Please post your ideas in here by Friday night so I can take a look before Saturdays Show  |

Sounds like a great idea for your show. I know a few guys on here have awesome airport ideas. It's not the kind if thing I design in my town but I'm sure you'll have lots if inspiration soon  |

This is my airport with landing and starting rollway or whatever this is called in English  People would enter through the Springfield Mall, the Cracker factory is the airport hall and the ice skating hall is where the luggage is handled The jail is the operational headquarter where the stuff guides the pilots.  Oh and the sunsphere is the control tower  I also have a little rail train area along the waterside with two stations.  |

Full Size Image HereI used the court house as my central station and I really liked the concept of Nelson living on 'the other side of the tracks' I may move Cletus' farm and Lincoln's cabin to that area to fill it out. I also tried to make the area around my airport similar to a real city. Adi, if you feature my town on tomorrow's episode please give credit to the person's airport you featured last week. My design was directly inspired by and relied heavily on that design. |

I guess not because it happens two people have the same idea using the boardwalk benches for tracks Adi, if you feature my town on tomorrow's episode please give credit to the person's airport you featured last week. My design was directly inspired by and relied heavily on that design. Now I haven't seen Adi's last week show so I must ask you Waylen did he show mine and do you mean me? Because you keep talking of "a person" and not telling the name so I have no idea who you mean. |

No, I just watched the video and its toxicshark965. That's the design I stole er... copied I mean was inspired by. I found this picture of my Christmas area before the snow fell too. It was actually my first attempt at a railway.  |

No, I just watched the video and its toxicshark965. That's the design I stole er... copied I mean was inspired by. I found this picture of my Christmas area before the snow fell too. It was actually my first attempt at a railway. Ok thank you for clarification because I got confused because we were talking about the airplane and I got inspired by yours if I remember right. Also your black hole gave me the idea to create the spiral but that's another story. |

That's what some of you guys are saying all the time Besides your rail track looks much better. There is only one detail that caught my eye..... ... you just gave me another inspiration again. You use the locomotive and added those bumper carts to make it more look like a real train. Now I was liking this but but then I thought hey I have those metal boxes that look like they could come from a real train, if you have ever seen a train that transports radioactive material .... Well with a little bit creative fantasy they look a bit like this hahaha  So again. The inspiration you gave me - thank you, I just used what I thought might match better than your bumper carts so it's not copycatting  |

Thanks for all the ideas! It was a great show. Thanks for showing off my airport and stuff. I have started to create a railway train with a start and terminal station. As for today it is still in an early state but you get the idea and all I have to add is decoration stuff which will take less than a couple of days I guess. So I would be happy if you like to show off my trains on coming Saturday in your show again So this is the entire train line in one full overview....  Some areas I have here for details in larger size.... This is the terminal station on the beach. It contains a tank filling station and a housing for the locomotives. And below is the street crossing point together with stop sign   As for copycats (since there is a recent discussion about copycats going on here) I like to point out. If anyone likes to copy ideas from me you're welcome to do but then we all will know where you got it from and so please don't forget to give me credits |

Oh dear, I hope people aren't getting possessive over their designs on a free to play game. Train looks great. I'm hoping to return the train at the beginning of next weeks show.

Great designs Waylen and mokkabee! I would have started something if it wasn't for the land shortage...don't feel like demolishing anything in my town yet... Just gets me thinking how the designs will go when an actual airport and monorail update arrives.  |

Ok here is an updated version of my Railtrain track.  I added lots of decoration, optimised the Terminal Station and the Main Station Hall/area  So let's see what do we have here in detail? Let's take a look at the Main Station Hall ... I used the Post Office and the Springfield Highschool as main station buildings. In every big Train station there is a big clock or even a clock tower so since I didn't had those items I used the Post Office since it has a clock and the Krusty Pole stands for the clock tower (ok you got to be very imaginative but you get the point ) then people could enter the building and every main train station has a larger terminal hall in where there are several shopping facilities. thats where the Arena comes in. from the size and looks it could very well hold this inside. the Ice skating rink is connected to it where the trains platform(s) are located. And finally magically the tracks appear from the ice skating rink and they go around the corner having a street crossing spot with the stop signs and I added billboards advertising spaces because this is also common thing then track goes another time around the corner and crosses another street and the Supercollider Building gives the impression that the tracks are somehow are running at its back slightly elevated as if they would be installed on a bridge like construction. Then it crosses the water and comes to a long bridge part with street tiles to each sides which i had in mind should reference to the splitter stones usually found on tracks.  Let's have a detailed look at the terminal station too... the train comes to an stop the Egg Nog Bar functions as small control building where the Bell is controlled from and it rings when a new trains is approaching. Also the Hermans trainings battle thing i thought should resemble to an older water crane in which the old locomotives that were running on coal went to get cooling water refilled over a crane. Just imagine the hanging sack is the nozzle where the water comes out LOL then we have after the turn the yellow black striped barricades and stop signs to enter a kind of service station where the train gets washed and checked and yes I used the Krustily Studios for that purpose. I didn't find anything suitable to cover up the words though. After the train went through the washing area it will enter the main technician hall (cracker factory) and from there it gets via a turn into the final housing - represented by a stack of walls. Also if you look closely you see between walls and the Studio there is a small path which leads exactly to the one door of the walls which gives the impression that it is a side way entry for stuff only  |

Besides my rail tracks and the trains I just came up with an additional train idea, actually it is less of a train since no tracks but I really liked the idea of putting people into a train compartment. I hope TheAdiposeTV will still count it as "train" otherwise I will just add a bus or something else in front of the compartment to make it more look like an open air sightseeing bus hahaha  Anyway, I really needed wheels here, but nothing i tried was working nicely so I left it out. By the way TheAdiposeTV if you want to show this off in your live show tomorrow I'll have to put Agnes on task just before the show starts because the "feed the pigeons" task goes only 30 minutes so that it's visible also at your side when you visit my Springfield. |
