Re worked my main park area, still needs something though..  An entrance through the flowers to the walkway around the fountain? I thought about doing that, originally had four planned, one on each side, but it's mainly decorative rather than actual pathway. Plus it would amuse me that the people of Springfield built a park that they couldn't get into, so I almost didn't build an entrance at all. Moot point as the park only lasted a day before I tore it down.  Modified it into larger commercial square, which I don't think I like. Gotta try these things though.  Then built new park further west.  |

So..as part of my overhaul last night, I took out my running track (stupid Flanders just wants to street run) and made an Observatory park. This was my first attempt at a sunken area with the hedges...not sure I pulled it off tho. Something looks odd to me....  |

Looks great, I find that sunken areas are hard to pull off on the southern edges because the hedges line up and it either looks like they don't go down behind them or they do but with a sudden drop. If I can't get it right I sometimes leave them out and make it look like a gentle slope or put walls in instead to hide it. Hope that makes sense it's 6.50am and I just got up. |

I made improvements on my originally posted 'grandpas park' This is the one thing that has remained in my town through 3 complete re designs it's my pride and joy!  |

Ran out of Valentine's trees for my park, so one of the "trees" is just a stump. It makes me disproportionately happy to see the snake popping its head out to see what the Giant Grasshopper is doing.  |

Here's my park, complete with waterfall, directly behind the Buddhist Temple, you know, for peace and tranquility.  And here's my playground:  Right next to the house owned by one of the meanest women in Springfield and next to a very dangerous box of fireworks.  |
