I think I vaguely recall that the banner-ad location had to change for technical reasons a while back (maybe a month), based on some posts between you and Spiffshine about lagging.

Someone hasn't been reading the Mod notes.

There was a plug-in that had it above the welcome banner, but Spiffshine uninstalled it to cut down on the forum lag and make things run smoother around here.

Hypothetically, you mean. Using Ad Block would, I think, violate ProBoards TOS. So of course you would never do such a terrible thing in reality.

Okay, I read the TOS and found where using Adblock is a violation. Mea culpa. I've given myself 40 lashes with a wet noodle and am now wiser for the experience.
