Badgecember Event 3Winter Gardens So, now that all that snow is covering everything and no one really has a clue what anything looks like anymore, why not make a garden? Ah, yes, the idea sounds absolutely ridiculous, but there is a badge involved, so keep on reading.
The PNR committee wants you to make a garden in your town completely blanketed with snow, and then whenever the snow melts (we assume sometime in January) we want you to come back here and post a screenshot of this beautiful creation of yours. The task seems simple, but patience is going to a virtue for this, because you will not receive your wonderful Winter Willie badge until you show us your fresh, spring garden after the snow melts. The good news is, you have until the day the snow melts to build your garden. So, in short, to earn a super awesome Winter Willie badge you must:
- Construct a garden in your town (at least 12 x 12 or 144 Squares)*
 - Include a mix of trees and flowers, shrubs or hedges
- Post a screenshot of the garden covered in snow after you build it
- Post a screenshot of the garden after the snow melts (you will get your Winter Willie badge at this point)
Fulfill the requirements above, and Winter Willie is all yours!
*For those of you with extreme land restrictions in your town, please PM D'oh-tastrophe Inc. and PnR Submissions to discuss the issue in detail. Please use the multiple recipient feature of the Private Messaging system to have a single private message going with both accounts.

Sounds fun! And as easy as making a garden may sound, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna spend hours wracking my brain about how to make my garden look good in the snow too.
And I LOOOOVEEEEE the banner image thingy at the top, portraying a Willie version of the TSTO splash screen!

Sounds fun! And as easy as making a garden may sound, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna spend hours wracking my brain about how to make my garden look good in the snow too. And I LOOOOVEEEEE the banner image thingy at the top, portraying a Willie version of the TSTO splash screen! And this banner even replace the unending spinning donut with a seasonal snowflake (our PnR team is not as lazy as EA) |

I think we have a 3 step system to this badge Step 1: WOOHOO!!!! New Badge Step 2: Dejection (sometime accompanied by the shakes) upon the realization of waiting for 3-6 weeks Step 3: Gradual Acceptance and Joy for a great PnR team Badge Opportunity and the realization that we get to design a garden and watch it grow (Just hopefully the snow does not last as long as the time it takes go grow corn or it will be like this  |

Seeing it just now made me hate myself for not remembering it, so in Googling it I found that it's apparently from the 13th season, which means there's a chance I may not have even seen that episode. I'm a huge fan of the show, but I stopped watching around season 12/13 so there's certainly a lot of great images or scenes that I hadn't seen. Anyway, all that is to say, uh, thanks!  |
