Got this idea of a Fertility Spring Festival to replace Whacking Day:
Problems at Sprinfield's High School: the youngsters have "spring fever"; the powers that be decide that to relieve the "tension" a few lectures on "the birds & the bees" would help, but it's difficult to do it tastefully (making things look properly horrible!). Idea! Use cute little insects to illustrate the procedures - no Kamasutra, please! This is PG rated.
Game adds: bees - of course - ladybugs, dragon flies, butterflies of all colors & other insects ( the more colorful ones premium); all kinds of flowers, bushes, trees and weeds - like dandelions, nightshade, oleander.....Suzane will be grateful, I think.
The insects take over the towns - no slithering - just flying gracefully on gossamer wings....(violin music here) the neighbors capture them with delicate, glittering nets.
Rewards? Honey, Silk worms? Tu-tus?
All the town's inhabitants get into the mood. May pole dancing, colorful ribbons for all the farm animals; a new boutique & aromatic herbs creams/soap shop for the ladies -fly fishing or hunting for the fellows (option to decorate guns with spring flowers and leaves may be nice) tackle shop to get supplies.
Ah, well, the idea needs a little working, but who knows EA might surprise us with something better than another Whacking Day. I Hope.
