After the most recent SPOFA poll might have been tampered, I've been wondering, how would a poll be tampered on here? The poll isn't open to the public so one can't use different IP addresses.

I know on vbulliten moderators/administrators can edit the number of votes, changing something from 1 to 100, for instance. I can't think of another way to tamper with a poll and I don't know if pro boards allows that and if any of the staff here would do that. (I doubt they would).

I don't think any of us want to lock or delete threads that don't need it. However I think it would probably be best at this point not to start speculations about things at this point. So it's probably best if this thread doesn't go any futher. However @themeparks4life and Lucy, I will say that tampering with a poll and tampering with votes are two very different things. |

I'm sorry if I insulted anyone. Honestly idk what spofa stands for (and therefore am unaware of to what the OP was referring) and was only answering the question using what knowledge I have. I was a mod on a site using vbulliten where we did that, as a joke.  (it wasn't a serious poll or anything.....) |

In Florida, you purge 54,000 people from the voting roll, mainly African Americans, by accusing them of being felons and then you make your ballot difficult to understand so that many potential votes for your opposition are counted as invalid. Finally, you have a family relation declare you the winner.

Finally, you have a family relation declare you the winner. That is too much work. Chicago's tried and true methods of registering the dead and outright vote buying are so much simpler. |
