My esteemed colleagues in the Pics & Rec Department have come up with another game to entertain the members of this forum. May I present to you Forum Monopoly.
As the only one in Springfield to actually own a monopoly, I assure you I have taken great lengths to formulate this game to ensure fair play. Follow the rules and the first person around the board to reach “GO” will win this "excellent" badge!
Welcome to the Monopoly Monday Sign-up thread. A game will be starting shortly.
Each game held may only have 4 participants per game. First to sign up will be awarded one of the four participant spaces. Note:Members may only sign up for one game per week. This is to allow other members to have the opportunity to play too. Members may sign up and play multiple games in a day however, members who have not played within the recent 24 hour period shall be given priority should such opportunity present itself. At this time, any members who have already won a Monopoly badge may not play again whilst there are other members still trying to achieve this badge.
There is a no Response Penalty: In order to keep the game moving along, each player will have a max response window of 15 minutes. Should a player exceed this window of time they may be disqualified from the current running game. Each game may last over an hour, therefore, if you do not have such time available to finish a game you may not want to sign up for this game slot. However, do feel free to post what timeframe would work best for you as additional time slots may be taken into consideration.
Ability to post screenshots: In order to play this game you will need to be able to take screenshots of certain buildings from your town and post them within the game thread. Should you require more information about how to take and post screenshots, here is a helpful thread for your reference. Taking and Uploading Screenshots
TIP: It may be helpful to have pictures of your town’s properties (only those that are listed on the board above) taken before hand to assist in rapid photo posting.
