auto-collect works, it is just slow. When you get back to your town you'll see proper counts. Also, you can tap more than 5 ghosts in a friends town, I've done up to 7. There is a delay for animation when you tap the last ghost, if there are several close by you can tap them also before it goes to 0. LOL didn't read your post. That's exactly what I meant too  |

I'll check again later when I can collect from friends again. All I noticed is that the goo count didn't change when I go from friend to friend if I don't let the goo collect. |

Are you afraid that you won't get every Halloween prize? Don't fret, with this guide you can, no ghostbusters required! Let's get to it!1. Have the max amount of friends- Origin allows you to have 100 friends, so fill those spots up! Need friends? Go to our Add Me section! When you visit friends, you can haunt 3 buildings (each will give you GOO) and tap 5 ghosts. If you have 100 friends, that's 800 GOO alone!
2. Drop Gremlins- Don't worry, they won't affect you or your friend's GOO count. Spiffshine explains it here.
3. Get the Halloween buildings- You'll have to shell out some real cash on this one, but the buildings will give you ghosts! The best part? When the event is over it switches to in game cash!
4. Put characters on Halloween tasks- D'oh-tastrophe Inc. put together this handy chart with all the character tasks:

A couple of points were missed. First, have Homer eat the Pumpkin House. It's worth 25 GOO. Second, pay attention to who visits you. If you have 100 friends, then that is 600 GOO you collect from haunted buildings. 3 buildings per friend at 2 GOO each. And replace the deadbeats. If you visit every friend, and they visit you daily, that is 1400 GOO a day. Unlike Easter, this time I don't have time to visit 100 people a day; and will probably drop deadbeats. I Don't expect daily visits; but 2-3 a week until I've hit the magic number, I would hope to see. |

Another point: if you started this event from day one, you only need to average about 280 goo per day to reach 10,000 total goo.

Wonder what the ghost zapper will do after the event? If it added to your multiplier I'd buy a few more. I've got a couple in each town. I can see how to merge them into exiting designs once I no longer need an easy way to kill off ghosts from the tomb. |

I find it ironic that @themeparks4life is the only forum neighbor I have that is not within a few hundred goo of finishing. This was a great opportunity for him to get donuts.

Unfortunately EA doesn't know jack shit when it comes to their apps crashing. I would be visiting people more but the game keeps on crashing. Might have to use donuts to speed it up. |

Do you have a lot of friend requests? Since the event started apparently 350 people requested me and that caused my game to crash (I could not even look at the request list through TSTO. I had to download origin on my iMac and decline them there). I got rid of all of them and I am back playing again. |
