The police are standing around and scratching their heads while they eat donuts and drink coffee. Maybe that's right?

So, Bartman won, or what? I was planning on asking after the game what happens when one accidentally guesses the right combination without accusing. Maybe I'm going to find out now .

@bartman5674 Congrats on the win. Am I missing something here, how did everyone know he'd won... before he won?

@bartman5674 Congrats on the win. Am I missing something here, how did everyone know he'd won... before he won? He guessed right, completely on accident and with tons of possibilities still open. Lisa hinted at it, but to win someone had to make a proper accusation. That's the rules. Only Bartman and I were a tad slow on the uptake and people had to hint quite strongly that an accusation is necessary to win

He guessed right, completely on accident and with tons of possibilities still open. Lisa hinted at it, but to win someone had to make a proper accusation. That's the rules. Only Bartman and I were a tad slow on the uptake and people had to hint quite strongly that an accusation is necessary to win Ah, so you have to double guess to make and accusation? No, it's in the wording. You make guesses to eliminate suspect, murder weapons and murder scenes. Like I post the following: I guess that Lisa committed the crime with the poisoned Donut in the Simpson's house. Then Eliza has to eliminate one of the three things I guessed. E.g. She says that Lisa has been eliminated as a suspect. The players can then cross Lisa off their list, she didn't do it, the murderer has to be someone else. Usually when enough things are crossed off the list through guesses, people start to make accusations. E.g. If only the Poisoned Donut is left as murder weapon and only Smithers as murderer but the Power Plant, the Frying Dutchman and the Android's Dungeon as murder scenes, then you can make an Accusation and have a 1 in 3 chance of being right. E.g. I accuse Smithers of having committed the crime with the Poisoned Donut in the Frying Dutchman. Accusations are a bit risky because if you are wrong then you are eliminated from the game. But if you are right and the first to make that accusation, you win. Sometimes though, as in this game, someone guesses the correct answer early in the game. Then Lisa can't eliminate anything from the guess because everything is right. But to win there sill has to be an accusation. A guess doesn't cut it to win. Therefore someone has to be quick in rewording the guess as an accusation. Read the rules, it's all there
