Like the burn badge more but the channel 6 one might make more sense...if that's what we are going for. If based just on what we like then the burns badge is cool. Of course I like the idea of a Scorpio badge because the simpsons left springfeld and went to live in a new place, kind of like leaving that old forum. Question: do we have to post a pic to get the badge or is a comment acceptable? Sorry guess my instructions were a bit lacking in the instruction part. All that is required is the posting of a story or memory in the other thread. This is solely for the competition thread of what badge will be chosen to be awarded as the 6 month winner. |

This will be a limited time badge that will only be given out to those that post in that thread over the next week By "that" thread, you mean "this" thread, right? (If not, please link to that.) My vote is for Homer giving the finger. Those of us here from the beginning remember why this forum was launched, and I think that's what we should commemorate. I love the Burns cake for 1 year. I like the Channel 6 but since this is a limited time badge, I think it should be cryptic, too, so 6 is a little on-the-nose. I also think the badge should be given to users who post to the forum during the week of their six month anniversary joining the forum. That way, the original gang will have them first, and after awhile people will suddenly get a badge of Homer flipping them off and they'll wonder WTF?? lol I don't even visit the other forum anymore, so to me, Homer giving the finger is spot-on. |

In honor of a classic Season 6 episode: While Homer flipping the double digits is awesome, Spiffshine apparently doesn't want to sacrifice her sanity for a animated badge (I know, right?!), I guess we should look at alternatives. And if we start down Alternative Lane, well....anything related to the majesty that is the Stonecutter episode is worthy of my support. |

Well, mine was pretty awkward to do, since the image is so old and grainy, but luckily the errors aren't as noticeable when the badge is made smaller. Far from perfect, but here it is anyway:  Mr Burns out of a cake is the best one |

I think the Stonecutters' 6 badge looks awesome. Same with the Burns/cake badge. But I also kinda feel like both could be used as badges for other celebrations, events, or groups in the future. Despite that, though I don't exactly consider myself a lovely badge whore, I WANT THEM BOTH. +1

Ah, just remembered the forum staff have a Stonecutters' badge. I think they may look too similar when shrunk to their tiny badge sizes.
