i liked the original board smileys a lot more then these ugly msn ones. they feel out of place. the skype smileys are cool... you should those, if possible. +1 |

I always use to check simpson0001's thread to find design threads of certain buildings so i would like to see a sub-folder for all the designs It amke it real easy to find |

ORIGINAL TOPIC: Forum Improvement Ideas
I'm not sure what the capabilities of the Authors of this forum are, but I think it would be cool if they used one of the margins of this site to display a constantly revolving slideshow of interesting screenshots of users' Springfields. These could be unique designs, funny contrived occurrences (Duffman "duffing" the dear), humorous texture glitches, etc.
Another idea would be to have a weekly "design face-off". Each week the building would change (Simpson House, Pimento Grove, El Chemistri, etc), if users found their designs to be worthy of competition they could submit them to the mods who would pick 2 or 3 that they deem best and put them up for voting. The winner gets a hearty "atta boy" (and an inundation of friend requests).
I think these items would keep the creative juices flowing between updates, as well as inspiring elevated design from new users.
Thoughts?
