I like you as a mod and wouldn't mind 2 more of you. But 6 mods! I don't like people with power holding it over me. Before you say it yes you never held any power over me. the one good thing about the ea board was the lack of a mod. Some of you having the power is fine but 6 is to many. H1 or whatever he calls himself now said it was because they need people on at all times. The mods that we have are always on at the same time lol. I can see I'm just wasting my time here. I seem to be the only one rubbed the wrong way here so whatever. When I'm on here I usually only see between 1-3 staff listed online. |

omg whats wrong with you, i know there is another post but i want it my own to thank josh I think the real issue here is what you wrote - "I know there is another post, but I want it MY OWN...". You could have also said "thank you" in the other thread, which you admitted to knowing it existed. However, you purposely wanted to make your own thread (with a "started by you" feature) to thank him. That seems a tad egocentric. There's nothing wrong with also thanking someone in a thread that already exists. If you want to add your own special comment, then write something eloquent. Don't blame the moderators for doing a good job of organizing. |

Nothing wrong with what was done. We now have mods that care and want an organized forum. This was made well known and still is.

My two cents- which is worth nothing since Canada got rid of the penny- everyone just take it easy. Let the admins/mods get used to their roles, setting out their rules, etc. this board is way new and not many people know what exactly they're getting into when it comes down to satisfying dozens upon dozens of people. Just chill a bit. I ended up going from pain-in-the-ass, banned daily (sometimes hourly) poster to administrator of a site with more than 300 members in a day.. Our site (the one where I had the screen name "ModsLickBalls"- my 8th name that night) shut down and a member made a new board for the topic.. For some reason people decided that lunatics SHOULD run the asylum and before I could think of a witty screen name, I was admin. I have been the admin for 3 years now and it is a thankless and frustrating position to be in- especially when the posters are your friends or people you've posted with for years. And the pay SUCKS!  Just try to keep in mind that this is new for everyone. They're doing their best to keep things organized and trying to minimize chaos. If you have a problem, try PMing them instead of calling it out as a free-for-all. No one asked for this board to be made for us. Someone did this on their own, dedicated the time to making it look nice and keep it running smoothly.. Just cut them some slack. Be grateful. Unless you are responsible for a board, you can't appreciate the work that goes into it. JMO- and I'd like change for my nickel.  |
