Thanks everyone who felt sympathy for the dumb mistake I made today. Apple works at such quick pace that I just received an email that I will be getting my refund. I am mighty pleased and swear I'll never be so dumb again.

Yes, I definitely want to spend a hundred donuts on a Homer Buddha and the amount of money I'd make in a day.

I just did a FML moment. I accidentally bought Gil's lousy deal and wasted 250 donuts. So I okay, usually that progress is not synced immediately on my iPhone since I was playing on my iPad. So I started up the game on my iPhone. AND true enough the deal didn't pull through BUT my donuts are gone. I just wasted 250 donuts on nothing. FUCK MY LIFE. Sigh. Somebody just stab me. I wasted about close to 20bucks right there. That sucks! Glad to hear you're getting a refund - better then getting that deal!

That sucks! Pretty sure you can petition for a refund in that case. Your ipad didn't save the deal properly either? Nope, nothing was saved. Yeah I did get a refund from apple. I submitted my request and within 45 minutes, they responded with a refund. It was quick, easy and painless. Quite the opposite from EA I would say.

I went ahead with the deal, ended up getting 40 donuts in the Homer Buddha. The deal ended up not being awful for me.

I just woke up, so I may not be at the top of my game. But the doughnut to cash ratio seems to be a little off. Correction way off. And the only thing that I seem to get in Homer Buddhas are mystery boxes that contain trees. Well think. The escalator to nowhere in donut costs would be 6000.. That's over $200 CAD or USD since 100, 000 costs 600 donuts.. And its what, $100 for 2400 donuts.. So you're trying to convince me that the escalator is worth over $200?! Let alone the Popsicle stick skyscraper for over $400??? Yea right..

This "deal" reminds me of when I delivered pizza in college. We had a coupon for a lunch deal with a large pizza and an order of breadsticks. It cost 45¢ MORE to use the coupon than to order them separately. And yet, people insisted on using the coupon so they wouldn't miss out on the deal. There really is a sucker born every day.

Not too upset at this deal since I have Frink's Lab and that money would go to more land.

So you're trying to convince me that the escalator is worth over $200?! Let alone the Popsicle stick skyscraper for over $400??? Yea right.. The cost to speed up cletus corn farm is something like 1085 donuts. The payout in cash is less than $100,000 which can be purchased for 600 donuts. That is to say.. you spend over 400 donuts to speed up cletus' corn, to earn half the in game cash - but you got to enjoy the animation of his corn for a real life price tag of say, $25? Sure if you have multipliers adding up to over 100% the farm might make more money, but that is truly ridiculous. Yet.. for a chance at one extra donut on a bonus level you must pay $50,000 game cash. The value of donuts is quite arbitrary in this game..
