G0THAMGIRL is correct, only senior admin has the ability to change the settings for ad-free. That being said, the 100,000 page views count for all the registered activity on the forum (as far as I know). That means every time one our registered members refreshes a page (to check for thread updates, play a game, answer a pm ect) that counts as a page view. When we started the premium badge project last summer it was estimated we go through 100,000 page views every 3-4 days. Since then we have close to doubled our membership. I'm sure there is some sort of hiccup and I totally understand the frustration. I'm sure as soon as one of the folks with power check in they will deal with the Proboards side of things so the ads will disappear again.

The Proboards monthly package is so that you do not see any ads for a month. The premium badge purchase is for 100,000 ad free page views of the forum by any forum member who is logged in. I think Spiffshine said this was about 5-6 days worth of posts, unless there was an update. But that was also several months ago, so the time they last is probably shorter. If you want the Premium badge, make a purchase of 100,000 ad free page views then send a PM to Spiffshine advising her you have done so and what you would like for a badge. You can give her a rough idea, or provide an image. You can either get the badge for yourself, or gift it to someone. More detailed instructions are on the OP of this thread. |
