Photo Challenge: Crime Wave PART III This Photo Challenge was a two parter. - In Part I, our challengers were asked to submit a picture of a crime in their Springfield, with no sign of law enforcement. - In Part II, each chellenger was randomly assigned a picture of a crime and asked to replicate the scene as best they could in their own town. After replicating the crime scene, they added whatever currently passes for law enforcement in their town, including police officers and vehicles and members of Spring Shield (Homer, Lenny and Carl). - Now for Part III: Final Entries were due June 16th, and while a couple have missed the deadline, we are proceeding with the vote. This is where you come in! Please vote for your the best rendition from the following selections. Watch for crime scene creativity, recreation accuracy, and law enforcement effectiveness. You will have until Thursday, June 20th to vote. Winner will be announced on Friday.

Unless that snake is Springfield's take on eco-friendly vehicles and the officers are inside... Yeah, that's the ticket. Oooh, and there is Wiggum's disembodied head in the task bar. I see where this is going. There are Bart and Milhouse at the bottom, right after the "See Something, Say Something" assembly at school. And Luigi appears to be thinking... perhaps of ways to covert his sandwich board sign to something a bit more... Newspeak.

The recreation on #2 is actually quite clever! lol (and no, I didn't do that one) Naturally, Mr. Burns would have finished polluting the area before Wiggum the witless wonder showed up. Nice work, whoever did that one!! President Dude, I think the reason so many people like #5 is a combination of not only the crime itself and the presence of law enforcement (as per the part III parameters), but also the extremely accurate recreation |

My favorite ones would be 1, 5 and 8 for, as Duelcitizen said, the extremely accurate recreation of the crime scene (although I like how #2 added the pollution to the scenery). I agree with Spiff in that law enforcement isn't really present in number 6 (or arguably any crime either) although its nice in a simplistic sort of way. Although it would make more sense if Fat Tony was out of the picture to make it look like Lumpy ate him. President Dude I have no idea what the crimes were but I remember Duffman and Lugash, and I think Moe, were the perpetrators. |

How can crime scene 7 have no votes? In fairness, I did not vote for it myself but do think that it´s rather good.
