Why oh why is it that every time I enter, no, every contest there is just so much talent and so many damn good designs that I cannot just say, oh, this is in the bag.....nice job everyone, I HATE YOU ALL....seriously nice work.

Chubby Lantern - Nice use of boardwalk fences there. Note to self: Steal be inspired by this idea.

Those boardwalk fences are awesome, used on them on Cletus's farm, Fort Sensible, my beach parking lot and ill be using them for lots more i was worried we wouldn't be able to use them on anything but the boardwalk

I feel the same way, and when I could actually win won with the Duff Brewery Peru comes in with a giant masterpiece Duff bottle and I didn't stand a chance

Nelson is passing the time by shooting at his car, Cletus is whittling a stick for a newborn, and Herman is practicing for when Obama comes to town, lol.
Meanwhile, the weeds and shrubs grow out of control, random playground equipment is found lying around, pumpkins are found rotting, Christmas lights and even a christmas tree are untouched, deer from the beyond have come to eat up plants, a few fires can even be found. The washers and dryers are broken. This is quality life for my springfieldians, (aka minions) lol

Not new, but I use the snapdragons as weeds, and I figure Cletus won the Duff Racer in a contest sponsored by Duff and the conveniently missing KBBL.



There's a lot of hidden things behind the houses, and extra junk by the "swimmin' hole" for when the car wash is broken down. The neighbour has put up a fence to try and distance themselves, even Cookie Kwan can't move this one.

Cleats may look, dumb; but that's a disguise. He is very industrious.

He in addition to he farm, he has a stand on a very busy corner. Today you can buy squash, tomacco, berries, some strange green leafy product, flowers and reindeer meat. Additionally he has pick your own fruit trees with apples, oranges, and some un identified fruit.

In the background you can see next years's X-mas trees, and stumps from the past season.

And he sells tickets for tours of the fort, which is also on his land.

Welcome to our tour of Beautiful West Springfield - far far away from the hustle and bustle of the booming Squidport neighborhood, West Springfield offers a more laid back, rural living experience.

Concerned about the proximity to Springfield's Nuclear Power Plant (home of what Springfieldians have laughingly come to think of as "Homer's Oopsie Moment")? Don't be! Why, here in West Springfield, you'll find the town's only functioning Fall Out Shelter right next to Cletus' farm!

While there is still some nuclear waste left laying about on this side of town, Cletus guarantees that you'll come to consider it a blessing from God himself. "It helps light up the yard so's I kin find ma way to the outhouse at night," says Cletus. Plus, all that plutonium has allowed Cletus to grow the biggest vegetables in town. Cletus even claims he can grow flowers in 45 seconds from seed to withered blossom!

Out behind Cletus's farm, you'll find the crash landing site of Kang, one half of Springfield's lovable alien duo. (We have no idea where Kodos is.) "This site is perfect," says Kang. "Intergalactic law states that alien spacecraft must land near the least believable citizens in any populated area. Before finding Cletus, I was almost forced to live with a child who would dress me in drag and force feed me Reece's Pieces. But whenever Cletus tries to tell people about the alien in his backyard, they just nod politely and back away."

Oh, and look! Here's local resident Marge Simpson, dressed in black and stirring a large pot.

"Oh, erm, hello," says Marge. "I, uh, I don't normally run into people over here which makes it a great place to practice witchcraft. I need a lot of 'Fogeddaboutit' potion to keep people from remembering all the terrible things Bart has done. Chopping the head off a statue, flooding the school, and, oh, that whole ugly episode with the Australians. If people remembered all of that they'd run us out of town ... What do you mean they did that in the 500th episode? Oh for goodness sake ...."

Moving on, next to Cletus' farm you'll find the Muntz house. Note the large speakers in the front yard. These are often used by Nelson himself when playing the guitar, enabling the entire neighborhood to enjoy his, uh, talent. For those with more, ahem, adult tastes, you can stop by in the evening when Nelson's mom uses the speakers to blast out songs by Def Leppard and Poison as she practices her "tassle routine," which, I'm told, is quite entertaining.

And, the final stop on our tour of highlights of West Spingfield is the famous Tire Fire. Yep. There it is.

OK, that concludes our tour and, if you look closely, you'll see the smoke stacks of the Duff Brewery to the south. If you need me, I'll be in the tasting room until the 3:15 tour starts.
