The theme for this week´s Off the Map competition is mazes (courtesy of Jopa ) Your maze can be made out of bushes, shrubs, walls or whatever other materials that you wish. Our only requirement is that it is undisputedly a maze. There´s not a lot more to say really. Oh and the closing date is Friday 21st. Good luck!

I took my original maze down during the "3000 cap" disaster. Just last week I decided to build a new maze. A bigger maze. A better maze. So this "Off the Map" event gives me the opportunity to introduce to you...... Well..... My maze!click picture for bigger view

Climb all the way to the middle, and your reward is ... you have to climb all the way back!

I'm glad to see another entry! We've got plenty of time left ... hoping to see more mazes.

Wow, that donut count puts EA's 14,999 for Squidport to shame...

I figured Mr. Burns would have his own private maze/retreat

I don't think I've posted this since I finished it back when we were all in Shelbyville last Halloween. I've done an exact recreation of the hedge maze in The Shining. Up in the upper left hand corner you can see the driveway of my very carefully positioned Burns Manor which is as close as anything in game is likely to come to the Overlook Hotel.

I think this has to be my favorite of all the Shining Mazes. Really beautiful. Is it preserved from last fall? Because bravo that's a lot of months of crashing and caps to endure.

I had to tear it down at the beginning of Christmas because I was crashing every ten seconds or so but it went back up when the fix came with Valentine's Day. Haven't been bitten by a cap yet and to keep it that way I've worked in a couple other designs for my town that lets me have things set up as I want them and still looking nice without requiring a ton of decorations to do it.

You really have to place Fat Tony's place nearby to stand in for the Overlook Hotel

Just staring at it gives a sort of optical illusion. Its as though the walls of the maze are moving. Excellent effect to an outstanding design.

OH Bollocks I had a maze around my Temple and removed it when I remodeled for the squidport update. Never took a screenshot. Too lazy to rebuild it. Good Luck to the other entrants trying to compete against thejudd67 cos he's totally won.

I remember printing this out and making a road maze out of it. Took about 2/3 of all the land.

I haven't done a big one, but I incorporated Sir Putts a Lot into one.

I would need to do a panoramic of my town. The entire thing is a maze. That gets walked. Including squid port.

I feel a little silly even posting this here because it doesn't hold a candle to the others, but I haven't yet gotten around to making a bigger/better/more elaborate maze. And, truth be told, modest as it is, this is still my favorite part of my town. It's behind the hospital, so there are lots of benches for visitors and recuperating patients to sit and rest on.
