A quick word of warning to anyone who is foolish enough, like me, to spend actual money on gifts. For a number of them you have to nominate who they are for before you buy them. Otherwise, like me, you rather pointlessly gift them to yourself and can't give them to the lucky person that they were intended for. It's cheaper and easier and more wise simply not to buy them in the first place. This is a service announcement from the idiot that is me.

I have ended up making some weird purchases as well unintentionally, but I've been able to share them with others, so it's been rather fun, actually. I suspect Peru protests too much and is actually a badge hoarder

Yes, most badges are for OTHER forum members. To honor them with a badge, you go to their profile and begin the purchase process. NOTE: Do not stay on their profile for more purchases, unless you intend to load them up with honors. A few badges can be bought by you for you. Comedy badges (ironic, right?), snowballs, and hot potatoes. For the snowballs, and hot potatoes, once you buy them, go to your profile and click on them. You should see "use badge activity." From there you will be able to "assign" the badge to a forum member. Further, snowballs become snowmen for the people that have been hit by them. EX: I "throw" a snowball at xyz, xyz gets a snowman. hmm. Not a bad idea Peruhomer. I'm currently sharing an apartment with four others but a fifth could really cut down on expenses. How about it @tara? We have a "couch" on the "back porch" that you could have. You'd have to do your laundry in the kitchen sink, and climb four flights of stairs, but we are close to the city. Actually close to a subway stop, that's close to the city. Well like a 20 minute walk to the subway... I'm selling this right? Peru I was looking for the silver tongue of Jebediah badge for you. Alas, it's not in the inventory. |
