Despite the high quality of entries that we received for Stadium Arcadium, in the end as in ´The Highlander´ there could be only one. That one is MelDesigner who may or may not have beheaded all of his competitors and may or may not now be immortal. The one thing that is certain is that he has deservedly become the first winner of ´The Homer´.

Thank you for the votes everyone and thank you to the contestants who participated with me in this rather unique competition. Although I may be the first to receive what I think as an admirable prize "The Homer vehicle" (which by the way is one of my favorite Simpsons cars I wish available in my town), I am certain there will be many more with far better creative and inspiring ideas to claim this as well as my head. Hey Peruhomer! Having references to "The Highlander" is a nice touch. -emoticon I cannot wait to see what comes up next. Although this pic below pays homage to Assassin's Creed, it looks fitting to Peruhomer reference to the Highlander.

The award for this week´s Off The Map challenge, A-Maze-Ing goes to the @judd67 and his exact recreation of the maze from The Shining. Despite some other strong contenders, in particular big Pete, it was always going to be difficult to beat an exact recreation of the maze from The Shining.

We would like to congratulate both Chrisp530 and A Bad Example for their hard work and original approaches to the Off the Map Obstacle Course challenge. Since both entries are really exceptional, we decided to give them both the badge. Chrisp530's entry Come join the Simpson family as they take you on a tour of my TSTO history while navigating my difficult, holiday themed obstacle course. The tour begins with the first event in TSTO history, Halloween 2012. I chose the Cemetery as the starting point since that was the first building we received from this event. I also included the Bad Dream House and House of Evil as these are not only two of my favorite buildings from the event, but overall as well. Next up is Christmas 2012. This event is probably the most memorable one for me because it was during Christmas '12 when I became addicted to this game and discovered the EA forum. The Mapple store was the first building I remember getting, but the Bowlarama and Barney are what I wanted the most, and I knew I'd never get it without more neighbors. So off to the EA forum it was. The event ended up being extended, so all my obsessive playing turned out to be pointless as I would have had plenty of time anyway. Next up was Valentines '13, by which time, I was completely hooked on the game and the forum. I only have one real life friend who actually plays this game, and he and I had talked often in January about how sick we were of the snow and couldn't wait to see green again in our Springfields. The night this update came out, I was at a birthday dinner with my girlfriend and 4 other friends of ours. During dinner, I received a text from my friend saying "Valentines update is out. That fucking snow is gone!go update so I can visit you". I yelled out a loud "thank f****** god" and everyone at the table and restaurant then looked at me like I was insane. So even though the Valentines update was incredibly easy and didn't have much content, it's still one of my favorites because it got rid of that damn snow and led to me joining the EA forum, which ultimately led to me finding this awesome forum. And now onto Whacking Day. This was the first event I was a member of either forum for, so there was a lot of anticipation and excitement for it to arrive. I even took a couple days off of work at the end of the week we expected the update to hit because I was so excited to play it. I chose fort sensible and the sleep Eazy as the buildings to use for this as they each represent polar opposite feelings for me about whacking day. Fort sensible represents my excitement at the beginning of the event as it was the first building we got, while the motel represents the end and my disdain for those motherf***** snakes after 6 weeks of whacking them. Finally, Halloween 2013. A wonderful event and an even better time to be on the forum. It was my first event as a member of this forum, and it couldn't have been any more fun. I simply chose my 3 favorite things I received from this event, which are, the Burns Coffin and Vampire Burns, the Victorian UFO, and the Fortune Teller Shop. The End A Bad Example's entry. . A memory? Last year I created a monster house farm with the intent of buying all the land. When I finally had it all I created a road maze. I found a map of the maze from the shining; and recreated it using the road, then decorated it. And then all the characters started walking on water, across grass and water, through buildings, at 45 degree angles, and teleporting. I was thinking of quitting the game if they couldn't even get this right. Then MoopsDude posted his first video; and I decided to play. I erased my town and recreated it with minimal road, then decorated around the paths characters walked. Over time this has advanced to I create the paths they roam. Springfield is a dangerous place. To get ice cream you have to brave Zombies, lady of the night, King Homer, a witch, and crashed aliens.

Congratulations Chrisp530. Brett, if you want to see this on a larger scale, PM me with your id. I'll add you to the town that I do this on full scale. I find working on this more entertaining and relaxing than the quest lines. My other towns are aided by my not owning all the land.
