Yea I don't understand Texas, but if u go to like El Paso I guess their an hour earlier then me so two hours earlier from the rest I just Googled it. Oh gosh that is weird. It's like Florida. It's weird, the map I found is all nicely color coded, and then there's Arizona as a big blob of nothingness and a piece of MST. So, apparently, Arizona is worse. Lol Most of Texas is big blobs of nothingness, to get to other towns/cities u gotta go thru at least 3 hours of if to get to the next an El Paso from me is 12 hr drive how can one state ge so big

I think my state fits in there 3-4 times... I can't remember. I know it's huge. My state is small. You can drive across it on 1-95 in about 3 and a half hours, but if you go diagonally it could take longer.

And cotton fields.

Hahaha nah I'm good with the one regular cookie, I'm just wandering the reason for ppl to get multiple cookies I thought they deserved a cookie per suggestion, no real reason otherwise (unless you're A Bad Example and want bragging and bartering rights with the cookies). I need to accumulate cookies. Lamson keeps eating them.

The reservations that cross state lines do the DST crap. But it's mostly empty space. It's nice never having to change the clock.

Admittedly, the last time was the year they fried Bundy. I did the diagonal in 3.

My mother has, but I'm sure she was going 95+ so she's not a good judge. I know it takes me about 2.5 hours to get from Charleston to Spartanburg using 26 (done it a few times and hated it).

And I went from Fayetteville once to Atlanta in just under three hours. So, probably under 2 hours as a I remember i-20 to Atlanta was a parking lot

South Carolinians can't drive on the interstate for some reason. Almost everyone I know is super intimidated by the interstate. Merging? Go 45. In the fast lane? Go 70 and refuse to switch lanes. Exiting? Make sure to slow to 30 before getting on the off ramp. Rain? Go as slow as possible. I'm so glad I'm done with an over an hour of interstate driving everyday. Don't ever go to Gaffeney. I've never had so many people pull out in front of me or cut me off.

I have a great idea for P&R to use in the first half of September! With Grandparents Day in the US on September 8th, I thought it would be nice to have something similar to Christmas in July and Hullabalooza. The premise is you have to created a screenshot with Grampa, Bart, and Lisa doing something relaxing or wild, like a picnic or trip to Krustyland. It can be anything as long as you have at least 5 decorations involved. If it meets the rules, you'll get this badge:

hello. I may be new here but I have a few ideas I would like to throw out. You guys do an excellent job around here as it is and it took me a while to navigate through all the different things going on here. I skimmed through this thread so I apologise if these have been mentioned before and if they stink a little, please pardon the smell.
-Photo challenge: have people provide funny or interesting pictures of a character on a specific task. The novelty of this depends on what kind of surroundings you put them in and the possibilities are endless. For example, if the task was smithers drinking, I would chose a snapshot I have of him walking from one side of my town to the other through a patch of unbought land, which I found to be appropriately amusing. This could be an ongoing weekly or a fortnightly event, with alternating characters and tasks. -Let people design whatever artwork they wish using a set of strict criteria for decorations, such as 50 newspaper dispensers, 20 ice sculptures only etc. -A scavenger hunt in your friends Springfields. This could be a list of things they can snapshot in their friends towns, the idea being that they get to spend more time looking through other towns & designs, which they may have overlooked or not made an effort to explore yet. For example, an item could be "take a picture of an angel topiary inside the burns mansion". This could be an extensive list completed without a set time limit for a badge. -I realize that acting out an episode in the game is virtually impossible, but what if people were given the option of retelling a story in their town based on a pre written narrative? The person participating can choose what part of the story to show and how best to document it, the challenge being to come up with the most creative or entertaining snapshots that go along with the storyline.
Some of these could be slightly less difficult alternatives that appeal to people like myself, who are a little terrified of attempting some of the extremely creative challenges you have going on here. Thanks for letting me share my ideas.

also, I'm not sure if this belongs here on in the Couch section? I have a game idea involving the recent addition of the feature that lets you see which neighbor visited you. The basic premise is you create a points system where every springfireld building that you can tap is worth a certain amount of points. At first I thought this could be done with one town, where everyone adds it and competes for points while the person in charge of the town clears the handshakes, but I'm ashamed to admit I completely forgot about the 3 tap limit.
The alternative would be to have multiple towns for people to add and have two or three different points structures, so people don't go for the same buildings in every town. That way the server strain isn't centred around one town. The disadvantage would be the game organizer would have to go from town to town accepting friend requests the duration of the game (I guess games could last for half an hour or so).The only problem is you need someone who can access multiple (I would say at least six) towns, or a few people willing to coordinate their towns for the event. I realise this would probably be too impractical, but it still sounds like a lot of fun to me.

Maybe a platinum Krusty badge for people with 40 or more Krusty Tags On one hand, that'd make a good badge. On the other hand, you'd get more forced humor from me
