So I started corn about May 18th (ish) I forgot to take a picture at the very beginning, so I took this one but then forgot to upload it when I took it. I have 61 days and some hours left right now.  I hope this is ok. Oh and side note, I hardly ever get random tasks to grow anything, but every time I have started growing corn the day after I get a random growing task. The first time it was perfection, I sat and stared at that thing for 90 dang days. I'm done, totally forgot about it and came to get the new update and saw someone had tapped it. Not sure if it had died or not but thank you! I hope this still counts?  So... Did this not count for my corn badge because it's a handshake and not the corn thingy? Who do I have to bribe to get a corn badge? |

Okay, here's my corn. Actually, this early corn picture is from early 2013, but dammit, I want a badge!!! Early stage picture:  ...and then I did this when I got bored with the game... Peruhomer started a thread on the EA forum about what to do when bored with the game. He started to gamble donuts by speeding up tasks, then canceling as late in the process as possible. He worked his way up from small tasks, to longer tasks. I loved the idea, and didn't have a stable mind at the time, so I decided to take it to the extreme. I couldn't just say I risked 930 donuts speeding up corn; I needed proof. So, I hit speed up, took a screenshot, then canceled the speed up. It was nerve-racking to say the least...  and here's the finished product:  |

Tried once before - can't remember now why I gave up. But a couple of days ago I decided to give it another go.  And of course just a few hours after I got a task to harvest Perfection!!! |

I have never grown corn..don't ask me why as I don't know. I always forget and do triffids for my XP.

1 week to go to finish 2nd time. It seems there is some glitch : minky told me some days ago, that she has already seen rotten corn on visiting my town with remaining 2 weeks to grow completely. |

Hmm, why not give this a go.  (Here's my most recent corn, but I think it doesn't count since I never posted about it: )  Twice in the months I wasn't playing I grew corn, and both times I got to harvest it, with a handshake above it! Thanks much to the awesome neighbors who visited and very likely revived my corn, even when I had hardly played at all for months. +1 Done, my fourth corn crop finished today.  |

Well, today my corn finished growing - I have been tapping it dutifully over the last 90 days to watch my progress. What's the first thing I do, before I take a screenshot, is tap the bleeding thing! Whoosh and it collects - I don't believe how stupid I am sometimes!!!  Maybe I'll try again someday or give up! |

I'm not sure, if this challenge is still active, as no badges were placed since early November ... OK, the badges were placed today (thanks), so the challenge is still active. Maybe good to know for those who just started to plant corn. |
