Give me the blue pill. I can't handle the real world which is why I spend much of my free time posting on an Internet forum pretending to be a Simpsons' character with others who do likewise. There are even a couple of confused posters who for some unknown and unexplained reason believe that they are in the Matrix...

I shoot up on both and see if my head exploded.  Perhaps crush them in each hand and lick your palms? Or maybe smash them together into a purple splotch? What happens then? But frankly speaking, this is a really tough decision. The Blue Pill let us continue in this state and trend... which tends to be struggle or a rat race, survival (now it's working, long ago more of foraging), coupled with sweet and meaningful moments, all in the contemporary context. Whilst, the Red Pill land is unknown to us. At least, unknown to our earthly memory. We never know what we can expect from it. Will it truly be better or worst when we "wake up" is questionable. Will I still get to taste fine wine, good company, good music, will I forsake my family when I "wake up" and thus causing them misery, etc. There are no refunds for non-satisfaction. Though I am not Buddhist, Buddhism has always been trying to share with us on how to achieve the red pill status (it has got something to do with taming thoughts, nothing to do with suicide). And achieving this red pill status is supposed to allow you true freedom within the blue world. Having faith in that, I will take the red pill. |
