lakooo Bob seems to be coyly eyeing the red assed baboon. He's just waiting for the right moment to run in and claim it for his own.

lilherb, I KNEW Bob was up to no good! But he'll have to move fast--Quimby isn't far behind. Haha! Quimby is quite fond of an ample derriere judging by his fondness for Miss Springfield.

I have literally never seen a Wal*Mart that didn't have gas pumps, a gigantic parking lot, a McDonald's and about half a mile of jungle gyms and lawn chairs to walk past before the actual entrance. You'd think this would be a perfect opportunity to change that, so I did: NOW it's a Sprawl*Mart, and a Krusty Burger... and no jungle gyms. ;P

(Seriously, they're probably the worst company on the planet.) for what it's worth, they're all messy and dirty on the inside

Once you leave the city and enter the suburbs they get better stuff. The buildings are bigger and better and the prices are cheaper.

]Well you know society. Once you leave the city and enter the suburbs they get better stuff. The buildings are bigger and better and the prices are cheaper. This is true, and makes no sense. Wal*Mart at least can afford better business practices, they just don't care about people. I actually knew a family (Paiz, if you've ever been to Guatemala) whose company got bought out by Wal*Mart. These awesome little stores turned into loud, filthy generic supercentres overnight, and you can bet they didn't get any jungle gyms either. Course, that's Guatemala, so... politics. (And they have plenty of jungle anyway.) But I totally agree with what you're saying. Businesses tend to fancy things up for people they want to impress and completely neglect the places they think no one's looking. /rant

I riffed on Tara's original idea of a garden center for her Try-N-Save to make one for my Sprawl-Mart. Remaining Valentine's and Whacking Day items are now on clearance! I adore lakooo's Wal-Mart with all the item displays outside. I like it even better how it is now, with more Happy Whacking Day signs. They must be on sale.

I like people's Garden Centre ideas....might borrow that. Also added the punching dummy near the entrance because coming out of there sometimes....anger issues....

It's simple, but that's to be expected with big box stores. I added the gas pumps because the Walmart I used to go to had a gas station in the parking lot. Who did this used to be
