Ok, i still can't get into my town but, I logout and can play anonymously just fine. And... I can visit friends from my main account for some reason and send hearts and collect for the anonymous account.
Anybody else get or try this?
What I'd like to know is what name comes up when the person collects the heart.

Yes, exactly. I can collect from my account friends when I'm not logged in to my account. Just from my device game.

When the tap to continue screen comes up, log out in the bottom left corner. Then tap to continue and play anonymously.

I noticed this about 2 weeks ago when I was playing around with an anonymous account. I accidentally clicked the friends button and saw that all my friends from my main account were there. I didn't collect from any of them, though, because I just assumed it wouldn't collect.

Very strange. I guess our friends are stored on our device while our gameplay is stored on our Origin account or something.

When I log out and go anon I don't have any friends. Maybe something to do with me switching between two accounts?

Maybe the friends storage is newish and related to cutting down on crashes? Rather than reloading the entire friends list it just loads up the file and checks any changes?
