So, I decided it was time to purge my friendlist since a few of my neighbors still had Christmas decorations up and I have a queue that is 40 strong.
And then I noticed something heartbreaking.
One of my favorite neighbors has seemed to have quit playing. I didn't have the heart to delete them because of how much I love their town. I'd rather have their unevolving masterpiece then risk some house farmer moving in to their spot.
Does anyone else have a neighbor like this? They've quit playing but youve kept them around anyway just to have a look every now and then.

Mine's my nephew. He's enlisted in the Army and unable to play but I'd like to think I'm doing my bit for my country by having him as a neighbour. Ha!

If I know someone was in the military I couldnt delete them if they had a town full of brown houses. I have so much respect for the military. Hope he comes home safe and well.  |

I have noticed one of my friends, xrobotlove, hasn't been on in a week. This friend was kind enough to PM me on the other forum and let me know that my town was crashing theirs. Most people just deleted me. Once my town was fixed, I let them know that it was okay to add me back. I should give them the same courtesy and PM them to see if they are locked out by the harp glitch or whatever prior to deleting them. I'll go do that right now.

Don't feel so bad when i know i'm replacing them with people on here who enjoy the game as much as i do.

I don't feel bad when they haven't logged on in a while, or if they're a level 26 farmer, but I feel bad letting lower levels go because I know they are just starting. A couple of low level farmers I've kept around have deleted their farms and have beautiful towns now. I'm glad I hung on to them.

I get the feeling I'm going to loose some friends. I haven't been able to get on for a week now. Damn Harp glitch. If anyone I know here drops me I will hunt you down  |

I have a 100 friends but sometimes forum regulars whom i see often add me and i recognize there name right away so i try my best to make room for them but then i feel bad when i delete someone, but I dont want someone on here to add me then i just ignore there request, or I dont want to delete anyone either... its a tough choice...
