Same here, I have been visited and it is still the same order. So much for giving EA credit on not messing up an update. That would have been a nice way to say hey, these ones are stopping by, though I would have been way at the end of my poor neighbors as of late, but I caught up today.

Yeah I've been in and out a few times and the order has stayed the same, even after visiting.
I say this non-flippantly: it'll either correct itself or it'll be the new thing.
I went over to the TSTO Facebook page to see how dramatically they were taking it, and it's really pretty impressive. There were tears practically gnashing out of my screen as I read 3 or 400 comments. And that's just the ones with jumbled friends lists, petrified with fear they will soon be reset.

I like the idea of friends list mixed up, I hope it's totally random every time we go to the neighbours hub.
It gives people towards the lower end of the alphabet a chance to get visited, as the x y's and z's do tend to be missed more than the a b c's.
I would bet that EA intentionally did this to help spread the love on whacking day.

I did an experiment -- I looked to see where pchd was on my list (2nd screen of four, top right) and also D'oh-tastrophe Inc. (3rd screen bottom left). Then I visited both towns -- no problems. Then I went back to my town, and back to the neighbor list. Now, pchd was on the bottom row of the 2nd screen and D'oh-tastrophe Inc. had moved from bottom left to bottom right of the 3rd screen. Since the new order does not seem to involve the town's level, or stars, or how recently I visited, I think there is a random order being imposed, triggered by visits, and I think this may have to do with the (presumed) upcoming Whacking Day update when visiting will shift into high gear. There is no alphabetic order bias in my visiting, I work all the way down the list -- but maybe members of this forum are the diligent exception, and the analytics team at EA may have decided that this would force a more distributed visiting pattern across all games. I have near 100 friends all jumbled. I also noticed a few of them have been reset (3 besides Neo). When scrolling through all friends it seems not only is the order jumbled its a random roll of the dice and it seemed I see the same ppl a few times over despite having scrolled past them. Really strange.
I wonder if this big update on Thursday might get pushed back. Something is really effed up with origin and unlike others I doubt it's by design.

Not to be alarmist, but when I got up this morning about half my friends have disappeared, The rest are still jumbled. Maybe I have the misfortune of having more than 40 people delete me, but I doubt it. Guess I might be hitting the add-me threads if it doesn't resolve.
And I haven't deleted anyone, so apologies if it looks like I did. Thankfully my town is fine...for the moment (insert foreboding music here).

I like the jumble, hope it either stays or becomes a setting. I want a "random" setting so I can visit 20-30 friends and get different ones without having to scroll through the list.

I, for one, hate the mixed up friends! The friends I have visited, are mixed in with the one I haven't gotten too yet. This is giving me a headache..

I like the mixed up friends. I visit my whole list anyway but this is a fresh way of seeing them and then different people get visits at different times. I hope it stays.

So I did my first run with my friends shuffled. During that time I pondered on the ideas that have been brought to the table since yesterday. And yes, for those that do not visit every friend, every day, it is probably good that it's a bit mixed up. Then I came to my last friend on the list. Zuzupj!!!!!!! This mixed up neighbors thing is hard for me, I try to get everyone on my list daily and have my towns pretty much memorized by order visited. So the shock of seeing peruhomer' s town right before audiobrain through a shock at me.I need order!

I like the jumbled up neighbor towns. I normally alternate starting my visits at the A's and the Z's so everyone gets hit at least every other day. I still crash about half way thru my visits and usually give up in disgust. This way everyone has an equal chance of getting a visit. But I just got back to visiting 2 days ago after a month of no access to neighbors ( so I feel ya JoeBeezy !) just in time, hopefully, for Whacking Day! BTW...I only saw 1 neighbor today with a level drop. That totally sucks, but at least he just went from 27 to 18 and not all the way back to 1.... |

But on the plus side, you're the only one of my friends in the correct alphabetical place, so that has to count for something. I visit everyone, every single day. Now, it is really hard, now that friends I have already visited today are mixed in with the ones I am still trying to do.
I would often start at the last one and the next day, start from the beginning. Now, this addled brain is just lost. OK, no laughing!!!

Could it be the order shifts based on when people visit, so the town that you are seeing first just visited and so on the ones toward the end were the last visitors. I am visiting people now and there seems to be no issue at all, maybe this is on purpose I'm not sure about this. I looked at my list before I closed the app and a few hours later I saw I had been visited, so I checked the list again and they were still in the same order as the last time. I am happy to tell you that your town is no longer the last in my friends list. It is 2nd to last. Which is odd, and disproves mdfriend's hypothesis since yours is one of the towns I visit most days..the other towns that should be on my last three pages are scattered throughout the list. |

No it corrected itself, but at this point I have no desire to visit anyone after seeing post after post regarding the town cut-backs. I still have to cut about 2500 myself if I want to continue. Not sure if it's worth it. |
