Wow! I am loving all the contest submissions! What great additions they make to the museum. Our forum members are so creative! We have our own Picassos, Renoirs and Van Gogh's in our midst. I want to see more, so please keep them coming! I'm so happy, I think I will break out in a dance...

I agree - as I have already plastered my town with Space Invader street art, I am glad to see another street artist represented in here. I was actually thinking whose street art I could imitate next. No Shepard Fairey now, rsommons wins.

Wow. This is NOT easy! And it wiped out my bank. I couldn't buy another $25 shrub if I wanted to! Here is my attempt at Van Gogh's Starry Night: This is incredible, Spiffshine! I bow before your legendary design skills.

While I believe my submission should potentially belong on a fridge rather in a Palace, I like Blinky and decided to share my first attempt at just for fun art!!

After Spiff's amazing masterpiece and all the other creations here this looks like a kids drawing. Oh well, this is Lisa Simpson's little kid drawing of a horses' head. I know, it kind of looks like a dinosaur, or a unicorn? Haha. Great art here!

I agree. Spiffshine, that is insanely good! I changed my Goldsworthy wall a little, and Space Invader also dropped by

Linguo Is Dead, that looks a whole lot like the Goldsworthy wall at Storm King (and the photo you posted of its inspiration looks a whole lot like Storm King in winter). If that's right, then I applaud both your choice of inspiration and your execution. I'm much more an appreciator of art than a creator, but I have been so enjoying others' creations that I had to at least try, as a show of solidarity (as well as a benchmark of incompetence. to help others appreciate their brilliance). Thus, below is my attempt at creating an Eye of Horus in my town, and an image of what it's actually supposed to look like.

lakooo - thanks! Storm king is indeed what I was going for (and where the picture is from). It's a beautiful place. Love the eye!

Another work for SPOFA. So much inspiration here. I offer a challenge: Abigail how about it? Are you up for a Warhol?
