States to place gondola in bonus space? Yet am taken to the water. Then it still says place the gondola in bonus Space. What am I missing? And in the main town, cannot get the Calabezi brothers task to trigger. Then, I hate this part..visitors are taken to the messiest part of my town..lol. That is a dumping ground. No time to fix.

Place a river down to place the gondola on it. The gondola can be placed on rivers, not just sea.
As for the Calabressis, place another Brown House down. That should fix it.

It sort of feels as if this event is to say “Here, just shut up and build your own Little Italy and come back in a couple months to see what other busy work we come up with the keep you silent with.” S |

Once again, SD proves his godhood. That being said: THIS EVENT IS 42 DAYS LONG. FORTY-F*CKING-TWO DAAAAAAAAYS. It sort of feels as if this event is to say “Here, just shut up and build your own Little Italy and come back in a couple months to see what other busy work we come up with the keep you silent with.” S 42? Do they think they're being FUNNY? (Douglas Adams, not just length itself.) Oh boy that's a long time. Maybe all our snow will be gone by then. (fourth major storm in 3 weeks). And I'm not very far in, but I'm super looking forward to Italian American stereotypes for 42 days. I can take the occasional joke, especially when it's actually funny, but it feels like we're the last acceptable target. And I mean that in the most bland of ways. I know real prejudice and racism are 1000x worse than my hurt feelings, but it still sucks even if it sucks way, way less. I don't mean to detract from anyone else or make it seem like I have it the worst. I just get more defensive of my Italian heritage than my other backgrounds. There's a petty viciousness I see that I don't see with the rest of my heritages. I didn't bat an eye after a weekend of leprechauns and Irish American jokes, but one Italian name in TSTO makes me bristle. |

The event ends on May 2nd so unless you live in the Arctic Circle, you should be fine. With the six weeks on, two weeks off cycle, we're in events for ~75% of the time. It's too much. But with the elimination of levels, events are the primary way to get new things. |

That's what they do." Thankfully, this event doesn't seem as bad as I feared. |

The event ends on May 2nd so unless you live in the Arctic Circle, you should be fine. With the six weeks on, two weeks off cycle, we're in events for ~75% of the time. It's too much. But with the elimination of levels, events are the primary way to get new things. According to wikisimpsons the event ends May 9th. 7 weeks. That must be the longest event ever. |

At the moment, the ONLY redeemable thing about this event is that we get a Tardis.
Otherwise, this might well be the event that brings me down. More theme duplicate casinos? More skins? More characters that have no solid purpose but to clog the streets? (~300 now) Carl still saying the line about “when Obama’s President”? Let’s build a little Capital City (??) and Little Paris and China, Japan, a massive Little Italy, Little Britain.... the great Wild West, an apocalyptic Outland... it suddenly just doesn’t *feel* like Springfield any more.....

I don't want to grind for 6 weeks for a ton of stuff that I will have to scroll past in storage.
