I'm locked out. It says there is an update, but when I go to the App Store, no update (I'm on iOS). And I cannot log into the game without the update. So...
UPDATE: Never mind, the update finally appeared in the store for me.

WTF!!!!!!
I am guessing that this might be a "Springfield Jobs" glitch, so adding to this thread.....
I have - in the last 3 days - been forced to download 800 odd meg on both my devices (iOS iPad Air, and iOS iPhone 6)
The kicker is that the iPad just tried to do it for a SECOND time today!!!!!
Bandwidth here is NOT cheap.......
EA can Kiss my A$$ if this is an issue on their side......

Nope - still 2,95 Gig free of 16+ Gigs on my iPad.....
So still 20% available.....
As for my iPhone - 90+ % free......

Nope - still 2,95 Gig free of 16+ Gigs on my iPad..... So still 20% available..... As for my iPhone - 90+ % free...... you need like 10 gigs free for it not to delete itself. |

Not sure if it's my phone or one of the updates recently, but suddenly I'm not getting notifications for Tapped Out anymore. Happened right after the phone updated to Oreo, but there were also 2 app store updates as well so I'm not sure of the cause.
Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Finally did it!! (How many days did that take? Waah) I've been going through a few at a time and remembering where I left off. I'm only on the Is. I start at Z and go backwards. Don't worry about dropping any in my town. I've finished Act 1 and should be good for the rest of the event. |

one partial,day and already over act two..lol, just the same ole rinse and repeat. I like this slow paced boring plot event for one reason only....there are loads of cool stuff to get. I am an American, but lived in England & Wales for 2 years back in the 90s so I am loving being able to make a British section. As far as doing the actual event, I am farming at the moment, so I just send guys on their criminal ways when I log into farm...no extra time taken and no pressure to be in the game every 4 hours. ATM, I could skip 4 days and still finish Act 2 with no worries. |

I agree. I like the Venice and London buildings, and it’s not too stressful so far. I enjoy it more than the outlands event due to the stuff we get.

Are all the new areas Land token purchases? Land prices are set. So if I paid $1M for a square of land, then a new player will pay $1M for the same square of land. The big problem is that new players will tempted to use their free land tokens on squares you can buy instead of the squares that need the land tokens so it might take them forever to get those squares of land. At the rate that EA is giving them out, it might take 7 or 8 events to get enough tokens to get all the end unless you use some less than ethical means. |
