Nice! Finally it fills out my iPhone X screen to the full What's with the black tab on the right side? That’s part of the screen. It’s called the sensor bar.

Another crappy thing about having to use land tokens to get the land is that it's going to take another 4-5 events to get enough land tokens to get all the land on the right side so we won't be getting any new land there for a while. So the only places to get new land would be on the north east part of town, more water squares (which are a lot less useful than land squares) or Springfield Heights which we haven't gotten new land there in years.

I'll give you one MORE crappy thing. I haven't bought all the land to the south yet (about 3 rows worth). I have the IGC to afford it, but I've started putting on the brakes regarding adding more land -- I have a hard enough time finding things in my town as it is! I have to add some land now to accommodate all the event stuff and I'd rather buy the land on the east. I even have a number of land tokens from previous events that I haven't used yet. But the land to the east is not available to me. Boo, hiss.

I now regret using past land tokens instead of hoarding them. I had 6 or 7 in inventory, but I would have never used ANY if I thought something this stupid would ever happen. When they first appeared, I thought they were something EA came out with to help the new/poor players that could not afford buying land. I'd rather see land for $100M IGC than this. Also, I was hoping to never see characters associated with buying a certain amount of donuts again, but I guess that's back which is happening nearly every day in the Family Guy game.

If it's true that the free land tokens are just a bug then there's nothing to worry about just wait it out

If you can't find all the Tappables, check your corn fields. I always find at least one there. If it's true that the free land tokens are just a bug then there's nothing to worry about just wait it out I agree, just wait. Even if it's intentional, there are too many people bitchin' 'bout it on their own forum for TSTO to not do something about it, like add an option to buy the land with Oscars or recycled bottles.

EA intentionally slowing down progress so people start putting money into the game again, dungeon keeper levels of fuckery. Not to mention the time gated characters behind donut purchases and the mystery boxes are also incentives to purchase. I applaud EA for finding new ways to monetize a five year old game with more fuckery.

What's with the black tab on the right side? That’s part of the screen. It’s called the sensor bar. So not quite "full" screen because of that annoying notch sensor bar bit. Lol I saw a great video on YouTube of how to get rid of that sensor bar, from the same person who also made a video of how to put the headphone socket back into your iPhone lol. It is a wee bit annoying the new land only available via land tokens, all the land token things I have received through previous events I have used already (got a total of 2 currently, received from this event) like previously said by someone else, I had assumed the land tokens were for the poorer gamers who hadn't been playing long, although I have land to buy which still costs in-game cash, so that's a plus, hopefully by the time I have purchased that I will have a few land tokens. So what will be the actual point of in-game cash in the future, baring in mind most of the stuff recycled crap we get in events now-a-days costs either dohnuts or you have to grind to get, now land costing only land tokens......in-game cash will be pretty pointless?

Not sure what your point is but the sensor bar doesn’t bother me in the slightest. In fact I love the two little ears left and right. Lol I think one just got to own an iPhone X to experience this. There is really nothing annoying about it. The only really annoying thing is probably people who don’t own an iPhone X claiming with certainty that it must be annoying when it is actually not 😂🤣 lol

Are “free land tokens” just ones from past events or what are people referring to?

Are “free land tokens” just ones from past events or what are people referring to? If you do have some free tokens from past events you can use them. But it also works with the new ones that you will get in the current event and will work probably also with future events

That aside, I know others who find it annoying, even those applemacfanboys (people who love apple products more than life-it-self, they would sell their family to get the latest iPhone). Although to be fair, phone functionality it is a nice feature, trouble is I am one of those who would prefer the sensor bar to just stretch all the way across the screen, I like watching videos on whatever phone I have, you miss bits (un-important bits probably) with the notch being there, or you can have the video slightly smaller so it does stop at the sensor notch but I don't feel like I am getting full screen. Trouble is it's more of a personal thing, I am not a massive fan of it and find it annoying, whereas you like it which is good. Saying that, I can find anything annoying in any bit of technology I use, it's just something I do. Lol no matter what I can always find something annoying with any device

So you are saying whatever the technology is you can find something annoying. Good for you if you can, I don’t have that ability 😂 But I can assure you that I am not one of those applmacfanboys you were describing. I do own a few apple products but they are just products to me, not some kind of magical wonder devices that have to be loved or praised and certainly I wouldn’t sell any of my family for them. You mean there ARE actually people like that? Lol 😆 Coming to the full screen issue... You are right, it’s not really full screen but I have a optimistic personality so when you ask me if the glass is half empty half full...or me I’d always say half full. And so that little piece that is bitten out of the screen, I can live with it and in my daily use I don’t even realise it is there. It’s kind of more of a “semantics’ issue to me. Full screen or nearly full screen I get it. But surely you would agree with the fact that the iPhone X screen is ‘fuller” than the screen of older iPhones with their top and bottom bezels housing the home button and the camera etc. Also if you take a screenshot then the black sensor bar is not there on the screenshot. If I come across something annoying I try to think of positives ways to see it. Try it 👍🏻😉 it works wonders.

I'll probably do Gil's deal, but my vault option had a bunch of stuff I didn't have and I had to stock up. (antenna, cracker fountain, cat burglar). I like to space out my purchases so the tasks don't overlap too much, since they tend to use the same few characters.
I don't hate this event, but it's nothing special. The things we tap on are easy to find, so that is a big plus over the last one. I'm not crazy about the bonus aspect, that it has to touch the area. It's not inspiring me to be more creative, so it comes off as more of a mechanism to just mess with me. It feels like they're trying so hard to engage us with these things, make us play more or interact more, but what would work better is a new, fun format.
